ICT interested in Ipswich Defender ?
Good to see a lad who is ambitious and who knows what he wants. Could well be an asset for a club like ours.

Scotland v England at TCS
Sorry but I have to disagree. I thought it was very eventful. It was end to end stuff with many chances at both ends. I really enjoyed watching it. Wish I could say the same for many of the pro matches I've watched in recent years. Bear in mind that these are schoolboy players playing in schoolboy leagues. One or two are lucky enough to be affiliated to senior clubs and have the possibility to learn from the pro's but most are coached by parents and volunteers who give their time for fun. The one thing that really annoys me about the professional club youth systems is that, in most cases, if a player signs to a club he is not allowed to play for his school team. That to me is totally crap. (And before the sexist brigade get on my back I dont actually know if the same applies in the womens game)

2011-12 Pre-Season Friendlies
Think it'll be all local games next pre-season for two reasons: 1. Very short break for players 2. Lack of funds

Season ticket 2011-12
Personally I think ST holders get a very good deal. North Stand adult ?300 = approx ?16 per game assuming 19 home games in season. I dont purchase an ST because I cant get to anywhere near the amount of home games to justify it. Instead I pay ?21 for North Stand. ST holders also get a good discount on merchandise. Some of those english teams you refer to may charge low prices for certain games but usually thats coupled with having to purchase for three games at a time.

Thats affy early for a 3 oclock k.o.

The race to the SPL
Did that ever get of the ground. Remember way back when it was being discussed it was dependant on subsidies from bridge tolls but these have since been scrapped. I think Stagecoach have plans for a hovercraft but not for a couple of years yet.

Away Support Hospitality
Generally all teams welcome hospitality from anyone. Remember, however, that you'll be sat with Aberdeen fans during the game.

The race to the SPL
Tis a good fifteen minute walk from station to ground which is much the same for Dunfermline.

Fixtures after the split
I would have thought the powers that be would have released the after split fixtures by now knowing who's in what half of the table. By my reckoning we should have 1. Hamilton------Away------23/04 2. Hibs------------Home-------30/04 3. St Mirren------Home------07/05 4. Aberdeen-----Away-------11/05 St Johnston-----Away-------14/05 This was the order of play for the first games of the season. They could change it for a bit of balance and make Aberdeen the third game. Either way its a fair old trek for the marchers in two and a bit days. Somewhere in there to fit the Celtic game?

Kilmarnock -V- ICT : Matchday Thread
Good assessment IHE but I dont think we'll have that team next season. I think Rooney will go elsewhere. I think Doran will go back to Blackburn. I also think Duncan is playing better than ever and, at 31, is still fit and able to give us another season. Rossco may not manage it. Hogg will not be captain because Foran will still be here and keeping the band. How I wish we could keep everyone except Innes. Even Odhiambo has a part to play in the squad.

The race to the SPL
Assuming the three top teams win on saturday then Falkirk will drop out of the race. The crucial game will be on 23rd when Raith travel to Dunfermline. Personally I feel Dunfermline will have the edge and finally get back to the top league but I wouldn't back against Raith. Both places are a good day out but I think Dunfermline is that little bit better and I'm looking forward to a trip or two there next season. Whats the thoughts of others?

Shirt on ebay.
I dont recall ever seeing the shirt in the ebay link below and it has no sponsors name. Can anyone shed some light on it and who was the regular No 9 that would have worn it around 2000 - 2002 ICT Shirt

Graham Bayne
Good to see him back. It was thought his injury was career ending but he's managed to prove the experts wrong.I believe Graeme asked to be released from his contract at DAFC when he thought he wouldn't be able to play again and its brilliant that they are now showing some faith in him by taking him back.

ICT say "NO" to leagues of 10.
Doncaster tells us that more games between the OF will make things more exciting. The SFA tell us that if OF fans, players and management keep misbehaving they will be forced to play those games behind closed doors. I predict a disaster on the horizon.

Division 1 Champions Mug.
Probably and you might even get a good deal on a set of six.

pelters from the sellik fans
Personally I think that if those people want to greet into some two bit central belt excuse for a radio station then let them. We're man enough to take their childish jibes.

Ayrshire away day
Think the bus goes straight to stadium. 200 miles almost at an average of 40 mph allowing for roadworks, a quick pee stop at Perth at the dreaded Ayrshire average speed camera's I'd say you'll arrive at the stadium around half two. Quick pint at stadium bar or hotel maybe.

Pitch Inspection***GAME OFF***
I'd love to know who is lying in all of this. Considering ICT attempted to make contact with the SPL and the Celtic chairman has also said he tried to make contact and ESPN was willing but never approached to change time then the only liars are those who run the SPL. But then we've known that for many a year.

Wow!!! A new manager thread that doesn't have Terry in the frame.

Pitch Inspection***GAME OFF***
Sorry but USH did not cause the problem. Very heavy rain caused it. Spiking would not have made a blind bit of difference because the water had no place to go. It should have gone into the firth but the extremely high spring tides held it back. Covers over the pitch would not have helped the problem. The water still needs somewhere to go. I'm just surprised IHE hasn't been around yet to explain the effects of the aquifer.
