Midweek games
The place isn't too crucial at the moment. What is important is that the results mean we are still in touch with the leaders. The yo-yo will continue and, give us a run of three or four results and we'll be back in the mix. Everyone has hard games to come and some will faulter.

When Hayes gets fitter

Partick -V- ICT : matchday thread
I'd take a punt that TB dropped him due to his inflated Ego, time wasting and attatude to last weeks game dude. A straight red for certain offences (violent behaviour for example) is an instant suspension for the next match (or longer) regardless of whether it is a league or cup match. Imrie's punishment was a 1 match league ban effective immediately. (Fact, not speculation but can't be bothered looking for link to SFA)

A proposed solution
I see no need for change in the North stand. What is needed is for the team to score in the first minute of every game and to have a shot on goal every ten minutes after that. The fans in that area will then be noisy for most of the game.

last game of the season
01/02 Partick won by 10 pts 02/03 Falkirk won by 9 pts 04/05 Falkirk won by 15 pts 05/06 St Mirren won by 10 pts 07/08 Hamilton won by 7 pts 08/09 St Johnston won by 10 pts Only us and Gretna have gone to the last game in this decade.

Bulvitis
He is CB, but have played few games as centre-half, can`t remember him as right back, and by the way, he started this season already in march, played aprox.20 games in Latvian championship, and now he is playing every game, so he can be little bit tired, that`s why not everything going as you all expect, and how he would like by himself... Nauris, your english is getting better as well as your game He would never wrote anything, I just know him very well... that`s why can`t sit quiet, as should do... No need to sit quiet friend. Everybody's opinion is important and welcome and, maybe, if more people knew he didn't have a summer break like the other players they would have more sympathy. Would I be correct in assuming you also are Latvian?

CTO - The Future
Like others you probably never stop to think that badly written english may not be the result of poor education. Have you thought to consider that some of the poorer writers may well have problems such as dislexia, learning disabilities, etc. They may also be people who's first language is not english. To bully and abuse them for the way they write, in my mind, is sick. We are not all gifted with perfection.

Merged: Terry Butcher - TV Caption
I loved that tie he was wearing last night ! He wore that one after working out that all the ICT negatives come from blue and white factions whereas us red and blacks are forever positive. :)

Expanding SPL
The latest rumour on this subject is that a full revamp of all leagues in Scotland is being looked at and an invitation may be issued to some teams in the Irish top league to come and join us.

Merged: Terry Butcher - TV Caption
Not a problem John. Personally I don't give a ***k one way or the other. I don't see there being any effect, or benifit, from him being publicly associated with ICT. My other view on this is that he's voicing opinion on competitions that we are very unlikely to ever play in. And finally, if, as many people seem to think, he is doing badly at the club, then why would we want that fact publicized? And, I take offence to any insinuation that I would succumb to any gagging order from anywhere.
-
This Time Next Year...
My answer is yes. Simply because I still believe this team, under Butcher, can win this league and if that happens I see Butcher wanting to prove himself in the SPL again.

2-0 Up at halftime. what would you have done?
My half time talk would have been about more of the same and for the first five or ten minutes of the second half I thought thats what we were going to get. I would, however, have looked seriously at Jocky's change of formation and counteracted it. I'd likely have taken Sanchez and Duncan off and replaced them with Imrie and Odhiambo and changed the formation to: Esson Tokely Bulvitus, Munro, Gollie Proctor Hayes, Foran, Imrie Rooney, Odhiambo With Proctor being urged to cover every blade of grass around the back line. If that wasn't working take Rooney off and put Cox on alongside Proc. Anything to stop their wide players having space.

When Hayes gets fitter
If any player had put in as much work as Jonny, in the first half, they would all have been knackered early on in the second. I think the problem, in the second, that seems to have been overlooked, is that Dundee went all out attack with a 4-3-3 formation and we didn't counteract so were left with having to defend from the midfield so an attacking player like Jonny finds himself unable to get the same chances as he did in the first.

Dundee -V- ICT : cup final thread
Thank goodness I dont have to travel up the A9 tonight. First half was excellent. We were on top and Dundee had no answers. Second half started fine till Bully made a mistake and they scored. Heads went down and the rest is history. When are we going to start playing two halves?

League insider...Cup final article
Result will be 3-3 after extra time and 4-5 on penalties. Richie Hart will be the fifth penalty taker for the Dee and we all know his fondness for row Z :024:

Clear skies in Perth now as well.

Top of the table
No scoring at Kircaldy yet but I see Clydebank United have thrown away a 2-0 lead and now trail Morton 2-4. So if things finish as they are there will be no change to league positions.
