Were you at the game? I dont expect us to win against the OF. What I do expect is that we play. Rangers put five past a team that didn't appear to me to even want to be there. They were not fired up for the game. There was no drive. No spirit and clearly no motivation. Thats the job of the management team and it isn't happening.

Pompey, we have a squad of players that have proved on many an occassion that they can mix it with the best. They are of the same standard as at least 10 teams in this league. So why are they not doing it?

Its a mix of optimism, realsim, common sense and loyalty. I take it in small doses after each game, but recently i've been taking them on a daily basis and especially after seeing this and various other anti-brewster topics springing up. I doubt even Alex Ferguson could get an adequate performance out of our defense right now. I believe anyone other than Brewster could.

Sorry, but in this instance I totally disagree. We have a squad of very good players. I've witnessed them play exceptionally well on many an occassion. We're talking guys who beat both halves of the OF last season. For some reason they ain't doing it this season. The only common denominator I can come up with is the management team.

Alex sounds very like that while you have tried to remain positive the last few weeks from what you saw in the first half today you now also believe we could be have serious problems There is problems mate. That team never came onto the park in the first half. I've lost count of the number of games we'va played against the OF but we have always given our all, win lose or draw. There was no pride, drive or desire in that team today. They, basically, lay down and let a half decent Rangers walk all over them. Coming out fighting in the second half was way too late.
