  1. He's gone too
  2. Andy Shinnie Bournemouth 0-2 Birmingham
  3. Be a happy squad in Dublin tonight then
  4. 464 minutes since we last conceded
  5. Calder was a youth coach as was Fridge. Think they both helped out with the keepers on matchdays though. Not sure that we ever appointed a keeper coach before Marsella. I think we should have one though and would offer the position to Esson.
  6. Byeeeeee!!! Have fun
  7. All I can suggest is that you fire off CV's to all the catering companies. (Aramark, ESS, Trinity etc) Also register with www.oilcareers.com. Try employment agencies. Be prepared to start at the bottom though. There are more stewards than chefs so be prepared to do the tasks of a steward. Mainly accomodation cleaning. I know many who have shelled out a lot of cash with the hope of getting offshore but never made it. Good luck. Sneckboy, do you work offshore cos you paint a very bleak picture compared to the realities. And I wouldn't say the wages were high either enless your a specialist or have worked your way up from the bottom. Catering, Roustabouts, Painters, Scaffolders generally start out at around £25k average a year. Most are day rated so only paid for days worked with no sickness benefits etc. The one thing that keeps most folk in the industry is the quality time off. Most of North Sea being 2 on 3 off rotas.
  8. Sorry if I seem a bit stupid but what Thistle are you referring to and what have they to do with the Championship?
  9. Yes and I know more about brown crab !!! Insolence when being beaten in an arguement is not very gentlemanly. As to your statement about Alloa knocking Hamilton of top spot perhaps you should rethink your comment. The general consensus among football fans is that 'being knocked of the top' is to be replaced by the team that beat you. Hamilton were not knocked of the top. Dundee overtook them thanks to Alloa's result. Here's another question to ponder though. Is Paul Hartley's Alloa something special and is the man himself something special or are the other teams in that league very bad this season?
  10. I cant see how having a preferred team in a league that your own team will never compete in can be deemed 'changing colours'. In English leagues I would favour Liverpool and in Spanish its Athletico Madrid simply because I've had opportunity to watch those two teams. Following the attitude of some I should, perhaps, never watch a match on tv that doesn't involve Inverness.
  11. When you say "here" were you typing that in Station park or in the Co-op in Forfar? I heard he's run out of Persil and can't use Daz. At least not the non-biological one. These are things we demand to know... Hughes Out! Sack the board! When I say "here" I mean Inverness I saw him at the rajah last night Thought you played for some foriegn team?
  12. That good old fashioned drinking mans pub
  13. No doubt CB will come along soon and defend BBC. Its probably all Salmonds fault.
  14. 38 on 22nd Dec. Wouldn't have been my choice five years ago let alone now.
  15. Imrie (Morton) Philipe Morais Stevenage
  16. The one thing not quite right with your figures Scotty is that you've omitted to account for monies earned by old SFL. With the special Rangers TV deal and the Barrs deal that must add a bit more to the overall pot
  17. "Its a special club, a special dressing room, a special city. I think we've got a special manager now as well". Think I'm going to assume that the person who said that knows a lot more than I do.
  18. Probably missing out an obvious one, but I can think of, Iain Stewart Barry Wilson Charlie Christie Craig Brewster Duncan Shearer Les Fridge David Bingham Paul Sheerin Brewster shouldn't count. He came as Player/Manager so didn't play then go on to being a manager
  19. Yogi in stand today to assess Shearer
  20. All those names that have been mentioned!!! I'd like to know who was actually interviewed and who, of those, was shortlisted. We know that hartley turned us down but nothing else official. Only guesswork, surmisation based on who was available, guesswork and wishlists. The man who most wanted turned us done for some feeble 'family' excuse. Pardon me but did he not know where Inverness was before agreeing to be interviewed? I'm inclined to believe that we got what we could afford and I also believe we have a team that will continue to play their way with little input from Yogi. The guy has a reasonable record and is not coming to us to fail. He'll already have watched us and seen the quality we have. He may already have a good idea what can be done to improve us. I'm happy enough to give him the chance. Our board has never really got it wrong before, or so many like to believe. John Hughes has a chance here to do one better than what Robbo done. He has a chance to get us two cups and a very high place in the SPL. If he can achieve close to that then he'll have something in common with Robbo. He'll have done it with someone elses team. The man has been appointed lets see what he can do before crucifying him.
  21. Four actually. He was at Falkirk when TB joined us. Left for Hibs then Livi and Hartlepool
  22. To be fair to Yogi he did take Hibs to 4th and a European spot in his only full season at Hibs and that same season the team he left (Falkirk) were relegated.
  23. or indeed his DoF A post we done away with, and never replaced, in our relegation year. Why would we take one on now? Didnt we do away with the post because Grassa moved from DoF to Vice-chairman? Also if you are to believe rumours then it was almost entirely Butchers idea to get rid of the DoF position. Hughes has worked with a DoF at a few of clubs so wouldn't be against having one and who's to say the board wont now deem a DoF necessary I'm inclined to believe Butcher may have had something to do with getting rid of the post. Personally its not a post I like. Nor do I think its necessary unless you do away with the coach doing the management side.
