If memory serves there was a couple of names being voted onto the board. I find it a bit worrying that there could be unrest at board level while we are sitting high in the league and reporting profit. Graeme has never struck me as being someone who'd walk away. He loves the club. He put his own finances at risk to keep the club out of debt by borrowing against his pension fund. There has to be something not right in the boardroom and to me that's a worry.

They should still be able to play as a div 2 club.

Christie was manager when Niculae was signed in july 07. He resigned in August 07 so wasn't the manager when all the furore occured. I'm also inclined to think that the signing may have helped Charlies decision to quit.

I would say that compensation wouldnt be an issue. Alloa have already stated they wouldnt stand in the way. Dont know who has a holiday home. Robertson has a home. Although I quite like the guy I'm apprehensive about going backwards.

Unless you can get a petition going that will be signed by 10's of 1000's then it'll go ahead. debate has taken place and votes counted in favour. Unfortunately, at the review and planning stages, there were not enough significant objections. To be honest I dont believe the attendance will be anything like last year at ER. If I recall correct the hearts fans made a big effort to show hibs they could outnumber hibs fans at ER. Will they make that effort again especially considering their team this time is playing a lot worse than they were then. As for tv whats the problem with BBC using one of the two channels that dont normally transmit during the day.

Kenny Shiels is not outspoken. Kenny Shiels is a man who calls it as he sees it. A one man protest against bad refereeing. Against a bad running of Scottish football and against a bad establishment in general. He became frustrated at the way the smaller team was being treated. he became frustrated at the way the big two dominated the game and controlled the establishment. Unfortunately, the press were always on the side of the big two so they endeavoured to bring the guy down. Kenny Shiels is passionate about football and even more passionate about the job he does. He wants to see a level playing field for all. Not outspoken, just saying it as he sees it. That said he would not be my choice. Some of our best times came about by blooding inexperienced managers and there are two or three guys out there who I believe have this club in their blood and who would do a job for us.

To be fair Dougal he did indicate in his letter that the venue was biased towards Hearts. I also believe Davy's preference is for Pittodrie. Mine would be McDairmid but no matter where I cant make it anyway.
