  1. Billy McKay Should of phrased it better An barely tried league 2 player = Rutherford An average striker from league 2 who had proven he could work hard = Mckay If we are going to take youngsters on loan from such a low quality league Yogi may aswell just leave and we can let Englands 4th tier laugh at how an untried player in their league i wanted by a 1st tier team in Scotland. What would you class the Scottish Premiership? To me its a low quality league where only one team will ever win it and the rest will take turns in the relegation zones. Around the world our league is seen as a joke with no competition for the top slot.
  2. To be fair, very few are decrying the team. An increasing number are voicing their doubts about the manager. A different thing altogether. Its the team that are on the pitch. Not the manager. Same players that were on fire at start of season seem to have forgotten how to play.
  3. I would imagine the SPFL are waiting to see how we fare in semi before committing to this.
  4. That depends on who owns, who operates and what local bylaws are in place to cover this. Many carparks associated with supermarkets etc are owned by and operated by a local authority. The operation may be contracted out but the LA will have put the rules in place and these will be displayed somewhere around the carpark. Usually the notices will be at entrance and other convenient places and will have small print that we drivers have no chance of reading as we pass by. Info comes from a friend who recently retired as a director of Town and City Parking Ltd.
  5. Shock Horror-----------------BBC get it wrong again!!!
  6. You got a gripe with KC? I'd express an opinion that Forans deal had been on the table long before the Hibs vacancy came about but given the time it takes for all parties to get together to sign deals the completion came about after Butcher left. Contrary to what some may believe its not usually managers who actually do the negotiating of contracts. Managers make recommendations and others behind the scenes do the paperwork so Richie signing was just business as usual for the people running the club. I'm also willing to believe that this signing is going to be very good for this club for many more years than the current contract.
  7. History repeating itself if that's the case then (not sure if it is tho). Remember our feeble performance in the 1st derby after we got relegated. Think Butcher and the guys got it after that! Hughes should be the most fired up of everyone for a derby. He's participated in many of the big ones in his career.
  8. Not managed to get to a game since Hughes took over and have to take onboard the comments of those who have yet I look at BBC stats for game and wonder whats what. Granted we didn't win but beeb says we had 59% possession against County's 41%. We had 11 shots on goal, 5 on target and scored 1. They had 4 shots with 2 on target and scored 2. That says to me that Fraser must have done a good job. That said there seems to be something very wrong with our finishing just now. Can Hughes really be blamed. He hasn't really had time to figure out the attributes of each player yet. Thats where Dunc's and Richie should be advicing. They know the players. The players know the players. The players are the same ones who've performed well before. We're without Richie as leader on the park and that seems to be having an effect. Also missing the Rave as has been said before but we should not be in a position where one or two players missing from the squad can have such an effect. That aspect has to be down to Butcher and not Hughes. This is not a defence of Hughes but more an observation of the realities. We were flying when everyone was fit but an injury or suspension and we can't cope.
  9. Not sure where you got stats from Sneckboy. Soccerbase head to head has us Won 23 Drawn 13 and nine losses against St Mirren in all comps. Are you just counting SPL games? Against Hearts its.8 wins 10 draws and 11 losses. 5 of those wins have been at Tynecastle
  10. He wasn't my choice but I think we'll still do well. We have a good coach in Duncan and I'm sure Richie will have a deal of involvement so I believe we could have a very good management team working with our lads.
  11. And they done that 4 times
  12. Você não disse recentemente que você estavam emigrando e ficar longe deste local
  13. There may well be interest in Billy but will his career be progressed by a move? I look at Adam Rooney. Regular first team at ICT to fighting in the relegation zone in League 1. Financially yes he is probably a lot better off but has he progressed his career? Will Billy get regular football if he moves or will he become a benchwarmer?
  14. Yes Charles it is just one poll but theres still a few months to go for your employers to lie and twist the truth be impartial reporters of the facts. http://newsnetscotland.com/index.php/scottish-opinion/8491-bbc-scotland-and-the-curious-case-of-the-changing-headlines
  15. Do your New Zealand press have any sense of Scottish geography or the make up of the Islanders? I can see were the Northern Isles suggestions may come from but the Hebrides? What say can they have on North Sea oil? Also only around five percent of Scotlands total whisky export comes from the islands mentioned. As for the poll, perhaps the NZ press are not the best ones to report truth. http://www.scotsman.com/news/politics/top-stories/scottish-independence-poll-shows-yes-narrowing-gap-1-3239245
  16. Maybe even a magpie and a jackdaw. Oh and plenty of seagulls
  17. Highly unlikely........What Mr Tan has done though is turn the Cardiff fans against him. Many are p!ssed of at him changing the clubs colours and this will rile them even more. Can also see Malky win a case for constructive dismissal. Making a comment about wanting three more players is hardly a sacking offence.
  18. Roundup from SPFL website http://spfl.co.uk/news/article/spfl-u20-league-round-up-57/ Hibernian remain top of the SPFL U20 League after beating Aberdeen 6-1 at Balmoor on Tuesday, with all the goals coming in the second half. Scott McKenna gave the Dons the lead but a Euan Smith hat-trick, a double from Jason Cummings and an Abdellah Zoubir goal gave Hibs a comprehensive win. Rangers stay second on goal difference thanks to a 2-0 victory over Dunfermline at East End Park with goals from Andy Murdoch and Calum Gallagher. Inverness CT are also on the 28-point mark after beating Celtic 3-1 at Dumbarton. Ally Sutherland scored after just 30 seconds and Ryan Christie doubled their lead. Denny Johnstone pulled one back but Adam Evans sealed victory for Caley Thistle with a late third. Chris Kane claimed a hat-trick as St Johnstone climbed to fourth with a 3-1 win over Dundee United at Station Park. Brad Smith replied for United. Kilmarnock beat Hearts 2-0 at Newtongrange with goals from Dylan Pooler and Robbie Muirhead. Partick Thistle and Falkirk drew 1-1 at the Excelsior Stadium. David Wilson opened the scoring for Thistle but Lewis Small equalised in the second half. Ross County and St Mirren drew 3-3 at the Global Energy Stadium. Tony Dingwall (2) and Kyle MacLeod netted for County, with Anton Brady, Adam Brown and Daniel McDonald scoring for Saints. Hamilton Accies and Motherwell played out a 0-0 draw at New Douglas Park. 19. Hibs stay top of league after thrashing Aberdeen 1-6. We move to second but Rangers play at East End Park tonight.
  20. Full Time 1-3
  21. Not been arranged yet. Our Feb game against Hibs will also need a new slot as will our March game v Motherwell.
  22. Steven MacLean. Has dished out 49 yellows and a red in nineteen games this season including six yellows to us in the three games he's officiated so far.
  23. Twas 29th Jan 2005. First SPL game at TCS. 2-0 v Dunfermline Watergate, Plebgate and now Plaquegate. Is there no end to it...? If there had been a gate I wouldn't have been injured
  24. Richie doesn't want it. He reckons he's got a good two years of playing in him yet. Future manager a possibility though.
  25. Twas 29th Jan 2005. First SPL game at TCS. 2-0 v Dunfermline
