Longest serving ICT manager barring Pele who was with us seven and a half years.
-
Apparantly he could face fines of up to £1m, be banned from playing for a period or even for good. It is fair to say, however, that he is not accused of match fixing. Without seeming to defend him I wonder if he just used a system of bet hedging where he splits the stake between the three likely results of any game thus limiting any losses.

How does someone get caught out doing this sort of thing? I go to bookies and fill a slip and pay my cash. I dont give a name so how did he get caught or who grassed him?

Beat Aberdeen 1-0 then lost 3-2 to Celtic if thats anything to go by.

When?.................next season we'll probably need to have our pre-season in Japan or USA. Suppose we could fit it in as our 'during the season' friendly but Scunthorpe? Not exactly a big club like say Arsenal or Chelsea

You protest too much Alex Is there any secrets you wish to reveal? You are amongst friends. Yeh...............I used to go to Brockville to watch Falkirk. I also lived a spit away from Newtown Park and went there to watch the BU's. When I lived in Fort William I travelled from time to time to the posh area of Inverness to watch Thistle. I go to the odd Scotland match. I watch a lot of football on tv from England and Spain. I own two signed Celtic shirts and a signed Rangers shirt from way back as well as numerous ICT shirts and a signed ICT match ball from our first season in SPL. I also have Craig Brewsters Dundee United shirt from 95-96 season and a signed Liverpool shirt from a couple of seasons ago. But then none of that is really a secret and I'm not sure that you come into my list of friends but what the hell........................... As for protesting.........isn't it you who's doing that. Looking over the last 23 posts since you came into the conversation ten have been from you protesting about others talking about the state of Rangers. Had you not even joined in there would likely be 23 less posts on the subject.

Seems to be very difficult to find out the regulations that apply to U-20 league but it may be that the pitches you refer to are not up to standard for facilities, floodlighting etc. Also, do these pitches not belong to Highland Football Academy? If so it may be that they cant guarantee availibility to comply with fixture list.

are at home against Rangers on tuesday night. Venue: Grant Street Park. Inverness. On being asked why not Victoria Park a club spokesperson stated that "the type of grass we grow in Dingwall is not conducive to the type of free flowing football we are trying to instill in our youngsters. It is a type of grass that only grows in very sandy conditions and has a habit of disappearing underground if trampled on too much".

There's aye going to be people unhappy with the crowd size but is it not time to realise that thats what it is. We average 3000 home fans for every game over the years. Last yars first home game against Motherwell seen us with a total crowd of less than 3000. The noticable factor nowadays is not so much the home fan attendance but more the dwindling numbers of travelling fans. Where we'd have seen 6 or 7 hundred Motherwell fans attend in the past recent games have shown that a lot less are making the effort now. The same applies to other teams. County will produce a decent crowd but thats because two thirds of their support live in Inverness. Fans from Dundee, Aberdeen and Edinburgh are not travelling in same numbers as they once did. Even the Celtic gates last year were down on previous. Many of those people need to make their cash go further so football suffers.

This has to be the best ICT team I've seen at TCS in all my years of following the club. It was very hard to select PotY candidates from yesterdays display. Everyone played a blinder and put in equal workrates. Foran played some of his best ever football for us. Dave the Rave and G. Shinnie spent more time in the opposition half than in defending their own but were still available to defend when called upon. Warren and Meekings were solid at the back. Doran ran his socks off but sometimes he tries too hard and loses out where a quicker pass or even shot on goal may have been the better option. Vincent and Ross seemed to be everywhere. Draper was solid in the middle and McKay was where he had to be every time. And he scored again. Brill had very little to do other than vocally control the play. The substitutes too did their bit to good effect and didnt upset the gameplan. We played the ball for full game. No aimless punts. And we stopped Motherwell from playing. All in all an excellent team display by one and all.

For someone who doesn't give a toss you're getting a fair few posts in on the subject.

Tichy if I'm trolling its certainly not intentional In my opinion no self respecting Caley fan would ever wear the away top As long as ICT continue to display the Thistle on the badge I personally won't purchase club merchandise but I certainly am not stopping any of my fellow ICT fans from doing so, like I said its my personal opinion Dougal Take away the thistle and the fekkin eagle falls on its ass

They will never enter the senior leagues , they refuse to I'm aware that, in the days of Davie Roy, they wouldn't entertain such ideas but things change and they may well choose to follow the pyramid system if it ever comes about.

They're away to Shakhter Karagandy the tuesday before us and the home leg is wednesday after us.
