Tannoy music for Friday
One thing did annoy me about the music. We invited a military pipe band to come play for us. I love pipe bands. Sadly I couldnt hear this one for the stadium music. The stadium announcer introduced the band then cranked up his own music over them. To me that was just plain ignorant. If you realise they are playing and you introduce them then have the decency to let us hear them.

Hampden Closes.
When the time comes we will adopt the same arrangements as we did when Hampden closed for re-build. Parkhead, Ibrox, Easter Road, Tynecastle, Pittodrie and now even Murrayfield.

Longing for the legends
Young Roberts beat Rossco in the air most of the time. The fact is, if we are to progress to a higher level, we have to play with better players. Ross and Grant were very good players for us but they are getting on and they are never going to improve. We now have a good blend of local and imported, youth and experience. We have a squad, without the old stalwarts, that will take us to the next level.

League Cup QF - away to Rangers
Insult?! You should hear the sh*t he calls me! Sheesh! The 2 times we've been at Hampden previously were in the Scottish cup not the league cup. Let's also remember that if we do get to the next round we will meet another SPL side, so a big ask to get to the final. And... even if we do get to the final we WILL NOT play at Hampden as no football will be played there after November. (although many say no football has been played there for a long time, etc, etc. yadda, yadda!) May I suggest you go back and re-read the article about the Hampden closure. Check the month but especially check the year.

Tonights the night
I'm with PMF. I hope they stay up but below us. It breaks my heart to see the position Midden are in at the moment but I think they will drop way down. Aberdire are dire. Dundee may manage to pull something off after the next window but they could be cut off well before then. I vote County for eleventh.

A new roving mic.
can we have a whip round to buy a new mic for the big man commentating on the half time challenge. That one is fekked and cant broadcast whole words.

Derby Day feelings
Tired now after the 240 mile round trip but also elated. Think I'll just pour myself a wee dram to celebrate.

ICT -V- Ross County
We are top six Luke...........at least until 4.45 tomorrow. That was some game. We totally outshone County in the first half. The look of relief on Tokely's face when his attempted clearance header hit the crossbar was something else. It would have been so funny had that gone in. Can that lad Roberts jump? He beat Tokes to almost every ball in the air. Very impressed with the transformation from the team I watched at Midden. They are playing some good football but we do make things hard for ourselves at times. For a good twenty minutes to half hour of the second half we were under the cosh, especially after they scored, and any forward runs we made were wasted because most of our players seemed frightened to cross the halfway line. All in all though the game was enjoyable and well worth the journey.

Derby Day feelings
Housework done. Dog attended to. Picnic tea all ready and packed. Just need missus home from work then the long drive begins. Unfortunately, due to nobody being able to watch dog overnight, the celebration will be the long drive back south.
