  1. I was sitting very near the top left corner of the stand at tynecastle and was very much enjoying my 1st away game this season. However the whole experience was marred by a few ICT fans who seemed only happy if they were causing trouble and abusing people. The main offender was constantly using the "c" word and hurling abuse towards the hearts fans that were sitting at the far right corner of the main stand (a bit of fun banter is good but this was verbal abuse) He then started to slag off most of the ICT by saying there were all "donuts" and that foran has no place in the side (i think we know who the donut is and it aint foran). Then, this lad and his mate started to have a go at the fans in front of me because they were disagreing with there "donut" remark about foran saying he is a star player for ICT. Everyone is entitled to an opinion but when you start swearing to people and basically treatening them that they are wrong is disgracefull. I would be happy never to see these people at an ICT game again, your support is not welcome!!!
  2. Barry wilsons goal against dunferline in the 1st spl game at TCS
  3. Why leave a club looking to secure 3rd place in the table and playing so well to go to a club playing crap and in a relagation dog fight? Is it the challenge or is it the money?
  4. This will be my 1st away game since the 7-0 thrashing or Ayr and very much enjoyed the pre match gathering in the ship inn. Is there a similar place in edinburgh where people go prior to the match?
  5. I would love to come for a pint however i am off to manchester to some friends and am going to find a bar to watch the match their. Good chance of a result i feel. Can't wait

  6. Hi paul, hows things? Are you going to the hearts game on the 18th? I am heading up to meet the folks, let me knoe if your going

  7. Pardew on a five and a half year deal is nothing short of staggering. He's been relagated from the premier league with charlton and recently sacked by league one side southampton. Ashley is a nutter, pardew makes no sense what so ever. Someone like martin o'neall, martin jol or even david o'leary would have been better but pardew s a joke of a choice. Back to the championship
  8. Sacking him is nothing short of disgraceful!!
  9. Brewster was a good managed for us in his first stint at ICT and think he would have done ok at county which would have reignited his career as a manager. Think he will have to step down a level or stay in division 1 before he gets an spl job again.
  10. I think what draws people to see ICT is the fact that we are a very new club in the grand scheme of things and we have done so well in such a short period or time. I now live in yorkshire and every football fan i speak to knows about inverness caley thistle and thier rise through the leagues and the famous cup win against celtic. We are a friendly club with a terrific fan base and have captured the hearts of many football fans with the achievments the club has managed. Plus, all the players enjoy playing for the club, manager and the fans, and it shows on the pitch.
  11. With terry butcher saying ICT should be owed compensation for the club putting on the under soil heating when all the games have been cancelled this weekend ( which i think is totally correct of TB) it staggered me to read that blackpool, a team in arguably the best league in the world have not got undersoil heating and that the game against man utd might have to be cancelled. I recognise that it is colder in scotland but it a club like inverness HAS to have it play in the spl then surely all english premier league teams should have to have it Thoughts?
  12. I wouldn't say that 500-600 is a decent turn out to be honest. Roy is one of ICT's hardest working players over the years and is a bit of an unsung hero in my eyes and would like to have seen 1500 or so. True ICT legend
  13. He should be signing his book at TCS when ICT are at home to aberdeen. Sounds sensible too me
  14. Really hope he doesnt go, he's had a great season and doesn't surprise me that he is attracting interest from other clubs. How long has he got on his current contract?
  15. Wow, rooney and foran are both better than robbie keane! Well i'll be damned
  16. I am coming up from leeds for this match, is there any particular pub that the usuall crowd gathers at?
  17. The bbc live text says: 33:57 Unfair challenge on Jonathan Hayes by Clark Robertson results in a free kick. Stuart Duff delivers the ball from the free kick right-footed from right wing, Yoann Folly concedes a Penalty for a foul on Adam Rooney. Was is rooney or munro that got fouled?
  18. Fantastic - from the sounds of it, aberdeen seemed to have no idea why it was given. Do they not know that you cant push people in the penalty area
  19. Listening to the match online and they are saying that they are expecting this to be aberdeens lowest crowd for a very long time, cant say i am surprised!
  20. I would have preferred spurs to win that game as always support the underdoor (even if only very slightly) but the goal SHOULD have stood. Although nani dived in the area and then handled the ball which should have should have been a freekick on two counts but the ref didnt not blow his whistle and award a free kick. so, when gomez put the ball down, nani has every right to score. In my book, bad refereeing but great awareness from nani.
  21. That site would be very central, but its not big enough and conjestion would be a nightmare. Although, if i were big enough, then the multistory would be good for parking and shops/restraunts would benefit from passing trade at full time.
  22. I dont think there is anything wrong with where the stadium is. Its easy to get to by road, 20 mins from station. It would be nice if the stands were closer to the picth as i think the 2 goal end stands are too far from the pitch, this is the main thing i would like to see changed. Would be nice if it was more enclosed as it can get very cold at times. Overall, we aint got a bad stadium
  23. This is in the gossip section of the bbc website i must add but ?150,000 for a 1st division player? ICT dont get that for our SPL players. Somethings not quite right here. Also it says this is a cut price as dundee are in administration, how much would he be worth if dundee were out of the woods? ?250,000? More? If griffiths is worth ?150,000+ then rooney must be worth ?250,000 easily!
  24. To be honest that would make me laugh. and would you really care if he banged in 14 goals or more a season? If that would make you laugh then you have one hell of a sick sence of humour? You honestly think it would be funny to see a kid with the name of a man inprisioned for sexual assault on the back of their shirt? Thats disgusting and disgraceful!!!
  25. I dont know the woman he assaulted but i dont see how that matters in the slightist. He has been convicted of a fairly serious crime and i think that any club who shows an interest in signing him should be ashamed. Imagine this: If marlon king was to sign for ICT for example, can you imagine a child wearing an ICT shirt with the name of a man CONVICTED of sexual assualt on the back of it? The thought sickens me! I hope he never plays professional football again! Oh and this is how its sexual assault - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/8332029.stm
