  1. Well one would have to conclude that Mr Barrowman is obviously doing something right in training, which is encouraging and the reason he nearly started yesterday. Similarities perhaps to the situation with Rory?
  2. I agree with SMEE too, what is there for the more mature ex festival goer like me! I've always liked the prodigy though, very good live I believe too. IMO the concert is still missing "that band" whatever that may be, but I am sure it will come.
  3. Yep, there will be enough for two Rich, but don't tell another sole
  4. Well we ain't gonna get beat tomorrow (And I'll have my hip flask of brandy in my pocket, don't think a coffee at half time will suffice)
  5. I bought a second hand giraffe
  6. Cheers Mr. H
  7. When do the Dussledorf flights start?
  8. I'd say shrewd management to let the team have a drink with all the other range of leisure activities on offer in Am*dam!
  9. Ian Stewart was as natural goal scorer as you will ever see, he always used to remind me of Robbie Fowler, they did similar things, apart form the obvious..... But Ian was remarkable because he was small and had no pace whatsoever.
  10. Ok Mr 5th, I'll settle for 7th then.....
  11. Is the top six still mathematically possible?
  12. fotoball is not his game anyway he is a rugaby man
  13. Get Morias and Vigurs in the team and try and play some football, yet to be tried. The alternative is obvioulsly not foolproof enough.
  14. A goalie Rosco Pavel Duff Mcbain Morais Black Kerr Vigurs Ronney Foran
  15. I would love to do this for a match, purely to be able to play some decent music and get a bit of crack..... Very influential position, should be an extrovert at all times and I say that in all seriousness. Can you imagine if someone like Billy Connelly was that person?
  16. Ronaldo

Hear hear, My only concern with him is that he appears vulnerable to being caught in possession, but I think he has become more confident on the ball and has two pretty good feet, which is unusual and certainly handy if you're a full back. His increased confidence will sort his problem IMO
  17. Mr Scarlet, mine often does that, very irritating, I often get 7 seconds of play at a time sometimes it's perfect though and runs from start to finish without a pause. Does anyonme know what causes this and can it be "sorted"
  18. 3 points is all that matters, the game was woeful, who cares? (Thought we defended very very well in the second half)
  19. I am not a fan of these signs either but IMO, if you question them you are often classed as being anti gaelic, which is not the case. We could have repaired lots of holes in the roads instead?
  20. Good one Mr M Sorry for my duplicated joke CMINB, I was having technical difficulties with my computer..... and whilst I'm here....... Paddy and Mick flying along in an old open top bi- plane Paddy says to Mick, " Here Mick, do you think if we fly upside down we'll fall out? "No way Paddy, you'll always by my friend"
  21. So July 08 was a good month for putting the washing out, or not? From my observations although the direction of the prevailing wind is pretty much in your face if you happen to sit in the main stand, the wind mainly comes across the pitch from corner to corner towards the North Stand And of course there is the turbulance factor, which probably causes the above. Any turbulance charts for the boys Mr 5th Stand?
  22. The plan should be to keep an eye on the round white thing. And Brazil had success because they scored more goals than the oppostion, they never gave a flying you know what about conceding goals.
  23. Very well explained indeed Scotty, please take the rest of the day off!
  24. We need someone that can shoot, anyone don't care if they can't play football. This is something we have lacked for a long time and you're right Vigurs could be that man, as he has a great shot and can play footie too. Problem sorted!
  25. This threads a great idea, well done Mr B! And your first joke reminded me of one. A survey was carried out amongst 100 men, asking them the reasons why they get up in the night. 12% said to go down to the fridge for a drink, 13% said to let the cat in and the remaining 75% said to go home!
