Rooney

People have seen a bit of him now, so what's the verdict, good signing?

The stats look pretty respectable. He is our top scorer, with 5 goals in the SPL from 7 starts and 10 sub appearances.

Think he will be good for us but needs teaching from a more experianced striker which we may get in January.

Brewster? :rotflmao:

Preferably someone who can speak on coherant sentences.

Has he had less minutes than the other two and managed scored more goals? Brewster doesn't seem to want to play play him on his own. He doesn't have as much physical presence as Wood but he's not small and should be able to throw his weight around better. He's quicker and has a better touch than Wood or Barrowman but just like them he's raw at this level. Considering he'only twenty and he's playing in a team that's self-destructing, he's actually done quite well.

I just fail to understand why he cannot get a regular start and find it baffling.

Looks the part to me.

Yes i agree , i'm always baffled he doesnt get a start , he puts himself about & given time he's going to be a real asset worth holding on to

He looks easily our best striker......so I reckon Brewster will sell him on in January!

Yip - give him an old head to patner up front and he will shine - but Brew clearly favours Wood so it doesnt really matter how well Rooney performs. As I have said before one of them needs a run away from home and two of them at home - just look at how our forward line has chopped and changed this season.

I think he's excellent but most of his goals have been in a losing cause.

Alongside Bayne? That could produce a few goals. How Bayne getting on BTW? Anyone follow St J?

Why would you need to follow St.J to see how Bayne was doing at Dumfermline? :rotflmao:

He has scored 4 goal this season.

<saveface>I only meant the Dunfermline games where they played St Johnstone</saveface>
