Only an Excuse

Thank christ for this site. On the run up to the bells tv's shite, got to take it easy on the drink (saving mesel for friday) and all is quiet in Perth at the mo. Wonder if Jonathon Watson has a portrayal of our manager.

Loadda crap....

Frank MacAvennie's wasn't even funny when they started doing him about 20 years ago...

not as good as they used to be :rotflmao:

Didn't even bother having a look at it this year, it's worn thinner than Rab C Nesbits vest, dated and just no funny.

Thought OAE was pish this year. Lot of non football related sketches too.

aye complete bollix but sat well alongside the utter pish that is hogmanay telly

Agree with most of the posts here. A tired clapped out format badly in need of a revamp - a bit like Top Gear.

I think that the format is great, it cant fail in a footie mad nation like ours. However, I think Jonathon Watson has lost a lot of enthusiasm for it over the years. BBC should be scanning Pie and Bovril and the other fansites for writers of keen, cutting edge football comedy.

Not as good as the older ones not related enough to football for me too much drifting.

Yeah....the new Rab C Nesbitt was poor too
