The press thread!

I just thought that because some people in the press seem to look past a lot of our views (Graham Linton from the Courier, we're looking at you!) and think we all don't share the opinion that Brewster should go, why not put it all into a nice wee comment for them that doesn't take up to much collum space and lets them know exactly what we feel?

A look at the online poll of the Highland News will confirm the real feelings of ICT fans. At the moment it's 84% in favour of Brewster leaving. I'd say that's significant.

Seems a logical thread to post this...

The Sun today carries a 2 page feature on the bottom four clubs, ICT, Motherwell, Hamilton and Falkirk. ICT are predicted to go down by the author of the piece and it's hard to argue although his reasons for Hamilton and Motherwell staying up (they are too good and they have shown they can be good) are somewhat lightweight in terms of putting forward his argument.

The nucleous of the players that lined up on Sunday are easily good enough for the SPL...

It wouldn't take much to get them into a winning mindset again... lack of motivation would appear to me, to be a big part of the problem.

Dont agree that the nucleus of sundays side are good enough for the SPL , just looking at the back 4 Tokely seems well past his sell by date as does Hastings , as for Proctor well we'll need to see him in his best position wherever that may be !

Yeah.... but apart from that......

Surely Brew must know Procs best position :rotflmao:

We must be favourites for the drop.

Agreed..

Especially if there is to be no change in direction from the board with regards to team management...

Johnboy. I can see your point but as I see it, we have Rooney, Tokely, Munro, Cowie, Esson, that are out and out SPL. Duncan, McGuire, Hastings, McBain, Imrie would not look out of place at St Johnstone but that is the difference. Look at the quality that has left and not been replaced, Niculae, Rankin, Black, Wyness, Dargo, Bayne, Dods, Mann. That was a time when we had an SPL team. January had better bring some goodies.

Related to press, The Courier and Highland News are on Stadium road, there wont be any impartiality there. the P and J have Brewster as a columnist. Its all tied up quite neatly.
