KILMARNOCK

May be one of the most inconsistent teams in the league but in Jim Jeffries and Billy Brown they have the most experienced and shrewdest managerial team of the lot. They also have in Kevin Kyle the one player of genuine quality plying his trade in the nether regions of the SPL. For those reasons, I believe that Killie will rally to finish in 8th place.

ICT

If I was making this prediction 8 weeks ago I would, without doubt, have tipped us to finish the season rock bottom with 2 trips to Dingwall to look forward to next season. However, Butcher and Malpas have brought the sort of managerial nous so obviously lacking in the pervious management team and that, combined with the shrewd aquisitions made, to be fair partly by Brewster, during the January window should be enough to keep us up possibly with a few points to spare just as long as nobody becomes complacent and the players continue to focus and graft for 90 minutes of every match.

ST MIRREN

Possibly have the poorest squad in the bottom 5 and will not be helped by the fact that the talismatic effect of being previously unbeaten at their new ground has now gone but with Dorman and Dargo they carry a bit of a goal threat and are likely to have three home games post split. For those two reasons I believe the Buddies will narrowly escape the drop and finish 10th.

FALKIRK

Despite the fact that they have beaten us twice recently, the second time comprehensively to say the least ! I believe that Falkirk are the least effective team in the league and now that Brewster is in Semi retirement at Victoria Park they have the poorest manager who seems to have lost the confidence of the majority of the players and the vast majority of the fans. The Bairns are in great danger of playing first division football and may only be saved by the fact that Hamilton are in freefall. I predict that they may well survive by the skin of their teeth in 11th spot with their superior goal difference possibly being crucial.

HAMILTON

I don't think that Accies are the worst team in the league and, in my opinion they have a very competent manager but, unfortunately for them they are on the sort of horrendous run that we were on in the final dark days of the Brewster era. They can't find a single goal just now never mind a point. All teams, especially towards the bottom, have bad runs but Hamilton's has come at just the wrong time. Despite the fact that they currently top the feeble 5 confidence at New Douglas Park must be rock bottom, the team are young and lack a sufficient number of wise old heads which Falkirk have in abundance. For that reason I believe that Hamilton will be this season's fall guys.

In what order do you predict the teams will finish ?

Dorman? Good player on great form. Could be their saviour.

Sounds like a perfect man marking job for filipe morais. He certainly came out on top in his last encounter with a Dorman. :rotflmao:

It's going to be extremely tight but I'll go for:-

Killie

Hamilton

St Mirren

ICT

Falkirk

I just hope that I'm right.

I've said from the start of the season that we'd have to fight to stay in the spl and we have had to ( and still do). However, having watched the Aberdeen game im beginning to wonder if the players are getting tired. The international break couldn't have at worse time for us, we'd built up some momentum and looked confident but the players didn't look confident at all against Aberdeen. I'd say Kille are safe just because they realise that if they do go down they really are buggered as they struggle to pull people in now, so if they go down they wouldn't have enough money to keep going.

So i'd say Hamilton

Killie

Midden

Caley

Falkirk (it could be vice versa but being an optimist il say Falkirk to go down)

nah i cant see Hamilton being the top of the 5.

Baring in mind guys, after the split the 6 teams all play each other, so they pick up and lose points of each other, so some of you really dont have faith in Caley if you put them 11th, with Falkirk going down. I can see Falkirk getting a boot up their arse like they did against us both games, so think they will give it a right good go. i just hope we do aswell....not giving them our 3 points we are definitely due against them in the split! dont help them out caley by letting them take our 3! we HAVE to beat them in the split if they are to go down!

Killie (not far off being a top 6 team IMHO)

Saint Mirren (not a great defence but a bit quality going forward)

Hamilton (see St Mirren)

ICT (just about)

Falkirk (that loss to Killie must have had an effect)

i too close to call at the moment for me. it just depends what kind of a response we get from the players in the split.

Hamilton will struggle without Offiong for the rest of the season and Kevin Kyle probably won't score again this season

my guess:

ICT

Hamilton

Mirren

Falkirk

Killie

Killie EH???

Maybe Kyle will start scoring but you cant always trust one player to get the goals

Killie

St Mirren

Falkirk

Caley

Hamilton

But only if we beat Hamilton on Saturday. If not, i feel we could be doomed.

You really think Falkirk could move up to 10th??? by the end of season

Falkirk are 6 points adrift of Hamilton - that is 2 wins for them if hamilton lose 2.

we are 4 points clear, which means a win and a draw over us and they are equal. it really is that easy.

which is why we need to take full advantage on saturday, with them playing hearts and not alot of chance given hearts' form. we need 3 points on saturday!!

Saturday's results have not altered my original view.

You still believe ICT will finish above St Mirren and Hamilton?

:rotflmao:

Motherwell

Inverness

Kilmarnock

Falkirk

St Mirren

Hamilton
