Google Earth (3d buildings)

Was just playing around on Google earth...playing the find Football Stadia game. There is a selection you can make on the sidebar for 3d buildings. And this gives you quite cool 3d views of footie stadiums. So.........................I found....

Rangers

Celtic

Hibs

Hearts

Falkirk

Dundee Utd

St Johnstne

Aberdeen

Dundee

Ayr utd

and even the tinky peg selling breeds up the road. BUT.....guess what team doesnt have a 3d stadium??? Bloody typical!

Oh.....I didnt know that. Wonder how they do them? They are very detailed!

Ive got google sketch up and it's one of the easiest things to use when you get the hang of it, If I get a chance, might give it a bash.

arent the pillars red ?

There are a few more adjustments required, like removing the SPL and Setanta billboards and unmirroring the billboards half way up the stand. Last but not least, it needs to be repositioned 200 yards further inland - the pitch looks a bit waterlogged at the moment!

Here... like the Scottish 2016 euro bid version of TCS!!!! wonder if thats a possibility?

Haha, yeah indeed, some of the 'collections' are not too shabby. Be nice to have a stadium like that, wouldn't be worth it though.

I'm wanting the 2016 version NOW. Looks like a lovely kind of place to teach the tinks what a roof is.

Aye...its smart...but also pie in the sky. Would look silly with 31 000 empty seats every week!
