Waverly to Easter Road

Afternoon all. I'm planning on visiting a mate up Leith Walk/constitution road way before or after the match on Saturday.

What is the best bus to get from Waverly Train station area? Which will either get me to the match, or a bit further up the road to meet my mate...?

Many thanks for any help offered!

It's not really worth getting a bus. You can walk it in 15 minutes and the traffic will be heavy with the game being on.

22, 10, 7 and 49 if you're heading down to the foot o the walk.

1 or 35 go past Easter Road.

As above though, it's a 15 minute walk with many quality boozers on the way.

And which route is the best from the city-centre, along London Road and up Easter Road, or down Leith Walk and along Montgomery Street/Brunswick Road? Or maybe there's another, less-obvious, option?

Turn left at the Station and just head to Wetherspoons, round the corner keeping to your right and boozer to boozer till ya reach the Iona Bar.

Pretty much the same either way really.

OK, thanks. I'm heading to Edinburgh in an hour. That gives me plenty time to find Easter Road and the Iona
