It cant be right that teams like Blacpool and Hearts are showing Payday lenders on their shirts

Football clubs shoold not in my view give credibility to these people

I don't think Hearts are in a position to be picky about whose money they accept, but I do like the irony of their relationship with a payday lender.

This lending market is distasteful but perfectly legal, and helps a lot of people when they need cash and have no legitimate alternative. If you don't like it, the constant TV advertising is surely more of an issue than shirt sponsorship!

Equally shirt sponsors shouldn't be betting companies as that encourages gambling, drink manufacturers as that encourages drinking etc but football is a business and if they don't take the money for advertising these companies will still advertise somewhere else. There is a thing called individual responsibility and people need to get back to accepting that its down to individuals and not the state to police everything. Just because a product or service is advertised nobody is forced to use it.

Many people are not capable of looking after themselves , some people may take the money to pay off other lenders, fuel an habit, or pay off debts ,

The main worry is the obscene rates of interest

Absolutely, there seems to be a serious lack of personal responsibility in society. Like it or not it is the board's responsibility to maximise the income of their club and so long as they don't break the law they can have on their shirts who they want. How far do you take it? ICT have boards around the ground advertising various food outlets, is ICT responsible if people get fat? Everyone has made bad decisions in their life no doubt, however ultimately people can choose what they do and they are responsible for the outcome.

If you take or look for moral and/or ethical guidance from a football club then you are a buffoon.
