By getting his 18th league goal of the season, Billy Mackay has overtaken Craig Dargo to to become the ICT player with the highest SPL goal tally in a single season. And there are still 11 games left.

I have a 12" disc of black plastic with a hole in the middle.  Is this a record?

No, it's an LP

(I'm sure it's a good one too!)

Well done BILLY :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:

Good stat Yngwie! I hadn't realised this was a record! Amazing for Billy to get 18 with eleven games to go! To put it in perspective, Adam Rooney's best SPL return was 15!

I thought Sevco broke all the football records?

We have now scored more goals this season than in any other SPL campaign. If the likes of Billy McKay continue to score goals we could end up with more goals scored by a team outside the OF since the SPL began, I'm going to keep an eye on this stat. At the moment also we have surpassed all teams goals for column from last season except for the OF and Dundee Utd, 10 more and we will be past Dundee Utd's tally.

Fantastic scoring record this season and Billy McKay likely to finish top scorer.

Yeah, the team's closing in on the 60-goal 'barrier'. Only five times has it been broken by teams outwith the OF.

  • Kilmarnock         63  (2005/06) - Kris Boyd 15, Steven Naismith 13

  • Hibernian           61  (2005/06) - Derek Riordan 16, Garry O' Connor 11

Well done Billy  :ictscarf:
