Uncovered Stand?

Does anyone know if there is going to be any plans for the stand opposite the main stand?  I thought the singing section could go there?

I can't see this happening soon for various reasons.

I would like to see something done with the ends of the main stands first?

I'd love to stand over there again. Used to be my regular spot before we got the north and south stands. What was up with the draconian stewards yesterday btw?

Safe Standing areas have apparently been given Govt. approval. I would have thought that an option for you. Our East Stand was a covered shed until 1991 and there is fan pressure to return it to such ----- the cost being the major hurdle.

Standing was never a government or legal issue in Scotland. The SPL banned it of their own back. Now they've said clubs can use a specific type of safe standing 'seat' but at around 4x the price if a normal seat what club outwith Celtic could afford something that is effectively a luxury?

Wasn't there another topic based on this before in the last few weeks? Nevertheless the club can't afford a new stand ATM and I think we're fine as we are, although it would be good for blocking out the noise of the cars on the road haha.

Yes, we can't hear ourselves sing for the traffic noise...  :tongueincheek:

Ooooops, sorry,

I thought this was a spoof post, :tongueincheek:   surely, you can't be serious

 Hilarious! It's just an idea?

At least, if you are standing there you get the South Westerly gusts on your backs.

And if you  want I can send you a Canadian Eskimo jacket with the fur on top to protect your neck and head area. Very warm I believe. But it will cost you.

It's where the singing section were originally supposed to go is it not, but very few took up the option, hilarious indeed.

How dare you speak about the S.P, like that. IHE?

Oh, and, by the way, there is a hyphen between "middle" and "aged".

It's always good to keep them apart lest some bright spark on here  thinks that you are referring to my middle-aged spread.

Well, I do admit but your progress since then does seem to be fair to middling.
