Caley Thistle fans abroad

Hi everyone,

Nick from the Highland News here... we're doing a fans special in preparation for the League Cup final and we're looking for ex-pat supporters' stories!

We want to know how long you've been supporting ICT, how you followed proceedings during the semi-final, how you felt during the match and after, if you're coming back for the big match and if not, how are you watching it... and also if you want to send a special good luck message to the lads ahead of the game!

We'd also love pics of you in your ICT regalia wherever you are now!

Anyone who's interested can either reply on this thread or ping me an email at [email protected]

All the best! :)

....think you'll find at least one heroic effort to get to the cup final on the "League Cup Final Roll Call" thread...

Cheers PerfICT, much appreciated!

Would love to be there but following a hip replacement operation I have a hospital appointment the day after the final in Spain so no way could I get home , I watched the semi -final in a pub in Portugal  whilst on holiday what a roller coaster. Also before we reached the Final I had arranged to come over for the home game against St Mirren.

I will be watching the game on Telly and will be kicking every ball with the boys - good luck to them and hopefully we will have a positive result

There's a few of us flying in from England...does that count as abroad? I guess that depends on the result of the independence vote, mind you if it rains any more down here.....glug

The more the merrier. :clapoverhead:

I will be coming over from Norway. Made it for the semi-final and no way am I missing the final.

Does watching game in the messroom of ship, in the Norwegian Sector of North Sea count as abroad ?

I'll miss this one I think. My Canada Goose transport is very iffy 'cos he's down with a bad dose of the 'flu.

It takes time and energy to recover from this and the older fella will just not make it in time I don't think.

But me heart will be there .... :clapoverhead::wave:

Listened to the semi-final in Ireland on a dodgy Radio Scotland MW radio feed a bit like the old Radio Luxembourg days.

For the final I will unfortunately be stranded in the desert and to make it worse will be working....

Got a few weeks still though to come up with a plan.
