  • On the other hand DD, we could have been out of site in the second half and County were lucky to get a point. It's not the first game this season that we have had to turn around a dismal first half pe

5.47 a.m over here in Western Canada.  Go up for this .Disappointed and gloomy.

Streuth!  Will this passing back never end. Watching Toronto getting  beaten by L.A. Galaxy last night. Tyhey were not bad --just fell down in the final third.

Get in there Marley!!!

Yasss!! Much better.

We got that wee bit of luck. Cross from Christie gets a wicked deflection and Watkins does well to control and shoot past Broon. Looks like Watkins is playing more in the middle supporting McKay - who did his best to get the final touch for the goal !!

Mucho bettero. Let's just hope that we maintain this momentum. We still unfortunately look suspect at the back - well Meekings and Warren do.

Great quick free kick involving Shinnie, Ryan and Doran. Should Billy have done better at the end ? County are going deeper and deeper and - wait for it - we are going long ball route.

Watkins up front leaving Christie in the hole - Doran switching wings. Watch out for Ryan on Soccer AM "Showboating" - Tansey gives Marley a right bollicking for being feckin greedy and not lifting his had for a cutback. And Carey escapes a second yellow but Doran did go down like a sack of feckin spuds.

And Hamilton go 1-0 up at Parkdread !!

So, was John's policy to defend in the first half and then come out in the 2nd with all guns blazing?

Oh dear - great run by Doran and Marley should have scored. And a Doran gets hooked fer Williams. Doran has really worked this half so may have been told at half time.

Thanks for keeping me up to date IHE.               You're a brick.

So, was John's policy to defend in the first half and then come out in the 2nd with all guns blazing?

No. But he has gone to a Plan B.

How is Carey still on the pitch ?

Now this sums up wee Billy. Great move and superb cross by Shinnie. Before this season wee Billy would have anticipated that and strode into the danger area and scored. Today he held back and to me that is worrying. And now he fires wide after a brilliant touch from Watkins. To be fair he was knocked off balance. No goals in 8 games. And Meekings concedes a needless corner and misses his marker who heads it straight at Brill.

They are trying to kill this so we need to press and show far more urgency than we have been doing. Basically are both teams settling for a point or the golden chance ?

Long throw from Meekings and a feckin cracker at that. And Broon produces the save of the season from poor wee Billy - well I did ask for urgency and we clearly want to win this. And Broon has another fine stop from Draper.

Piling on the pressure mun.

Another long throw from Meekings and superb with the flat trajectory. Goes for a corner and Meekings wholly connects and hits Darren Barr on the napper when it was fizzling in to the net, 4 minutes stoppage time but have we left it too late ?

Let's face it in the end a draw was the fair result. Definitely a game of two halves. But what the feck happened in the first 45 minutes. IMHO we did not do our homework on the opposition. BUT that was two points lost. BUT we did go to a Plan B and it looked more effective.

Despite being lucky that the game was so close at half time, we really had enough chances to win 3 games in the 2nd half. How many?

Very frustrating for 2 reasons- the shocking first half performance and the fact we didn't take any of the opportunities in the second.

To be fair Brown made one wonder save and two other above average saves and the Tinks were blocking shots as if they were human hay bales being shunted off a feckin Combine Harvester controlled by Farmer Jim Muckinbyre and Ghillie Dodds.

Is this a bad time to remind everyone of ICT's complete inability in the last few years to come from behind?

Pheoaarr - nothing like coming from behind.

4 points from a possible 12 and a league cup defeat since the last international break. Seems like this one might do us a favour and allow us to regroup and get back to what we were doing at the start of the season.
