Alex Fisher

A new signing from Torquay. (The weather will be a shock to the system) standing at 6'3 and 25 years old from Westminster, England.

Scored 7 in 22 for them last season. He's got plenty of experience around Europe in Belgium and Spains lower leagues.

Has 70 goals in 164 senior appearances over the course of his career so far. So has goals in him but this is the highest level he's ever been at.

Will wear the number 18 shirt. Signed till end of season with option for another year.

Picked up an injury to his ankle tonight. Hopefully not too serious. https://youtu.be/P0R5TSToL18

And in other breaking news, David Bowie has died.

RiG's succinct post basically translates as "Fisher played in the first cup game at Stirling and again at Killie on Saturday - where've you been?!"

Hobbled off injured like many of our other signings this season, lets hope its not serious and the guy gets game time to show what he can do.

If it was the cup final he wouldn't have went off injured.

Usually there's a new thread detailing any new signings. Just thought I'd give a little bio seeing as I knew little about him. Had a little look.

Though as soon as I saw the results I didn't bother reading the match reports and who'd played. It was only when I saw he'd been injured that I realised we had a new boy as there wasn't really much of an an announcement elsewhere.

I think you'll find that my post also had up to date information of his injury status at the time.

Out for 2 months. We have had rotten luck with signings this season. Hope he makes a full quick recovery

That's a shame, didn't get to see much of what he can do with the ball but he worked the back line hard playing off of the last man. Fast and using up plenty of energy. Just what you would expect of a late sub to do, which was the complete opposite of Tarmo Kink last season. Between him and the Forth official, the official edged it on distance travelled.
