Ross County Down ( Snigger )

Getting pumped by Livvy 4 -2 with minutes to go!    i can't say i'm shocked as they have avoided the drop on a few recent occasions!

Cowie will keep his job or will sugar daddy Roy decide to get someone new?  one thing for sure there will be an exodus of mercenaries heading over the bridge!

  • You don’t need AI Don, artist George Stubbs predicted this result way back in 1770. Although I’m not actually sure if that is a lion or Rod Stewart!

As a different example of ignorance, I used to get upset whenever I saw something saying that County was the "most northerly" SPFL club. I corrected The Guardian more than once, and pointed it out to

That's a pretty honest reality check. MacGregor has backed County to a level we can only dream about. Unless ICT can find a significant new source of investment, getting into the Championship and clinging onto a place there is really the best we can expect. Maximising income streams by improving the matchday experience and using the stadium's facilities for non-football activities will also help. It is good that the Board and the Supporters Trust are now working together on those fronts.

County looking increasingly likely to finish 9th or 10th, as they are 7 off Ayr in 8th who have played a game less. Airdrie are bottom, 1 point behind with a game in hand.

Hopefully we settle down and secure the title as a play off against County would not do my blood pressure any good 😂😂

More concerned about us tbh. The fact both highland clubs have season-long critical matches coming up that will strongly affect and influence how they operate next season makes me think of it more of fate and destiny (Not a superstitious person at all, but these matches have something about them that I can’t shake off or explain).

We (ICT) have a better route to our Nirvana in that as long as we don’t loose. Coonty’s survival is more complicated as they need to win and hope Airdrie don’t win, and if that occurs also hope Morton don’t keep any defeat to a single goal (4 goal difference).

I’d like to see the return of the derby, but fan numbers attending fell off the last time we were in the same league. In drawing championship away fans, the novelty and attraction could exist (I think) for a couple of (our) matches! If both ICT & RC are in the Championship then I think travelling up the A9 four times is two, too many trips (particularly in winter). - So derby return with 3000-ish fans or more central belt fans (and revenue).

PS my best buddy is a Coonty fan (which I have loved this season) hence the opinion.

And down again!

(Snigger, snigger)

Ross County now joined by Airdrieonians - League 1 will again be very competitive next year so no guarantee that THE County will win it!!!
