Caley Thistle Tartan

I was at a wedding dance last night & noticed a couple of lads wearing kilts in the Rangers tartan ,so it made me come to think  :024:

shouldnt we have a Tartan for ICT , especially as we're from the heart of the highlands

There definitely is one, just search previous topics - I'm sure there's been a thread on here with a pic in the past  :003:

I'm very surprised then that there's no ICT tartan merchandise available in club shop :(

Is there not a big enough demand for it ?

well i cant say ive noticed Tartan rugs  :-  oh well i'll have a look to see if i can spot any other Inverness Tartan items  ;D

there is def an ict tartan.  i have a tartan scarf in it and at one point it was decorating the kingmills.  the female staff also had tartan jackets.  it was a kind of darkish tartan but not too bad...

The Caley Thistle tartan was first worn by Dougie McGilvray and Dougie Riach who had kilts made from it for the Division 3 Championship celebration function in May 1997. I haven't seen much of it since.

I wear it to the games. It is a bit of a faded Ancient MacKenzie with pish stains.

Feck me, I've got one too.  :rotflmao:

My Cousin is a Kiltmaker, she thinks one of the Kiltmakers in town owns the license - can't remember which one - I'll check it out.

Very dark on account of the excessive use of black. Black, red, blue and white. Designed by Polly Wittering of the House of Edgar in Perth. I expect the club should own the copyright and would probably be able to tell you which kiltmakers they have licenced.
