Mark McGhee Staying at Motherwell

BBC Radio Scotland are reporting that Mark McGhee is staying on as Motherwell manager and is not going to the Jambos. A very sensible decision.

why would he leave??

he is doing such a good job at well!!

Hearts ?40m in debt and the Manager rarely gets to pick a team. Every week someone different flys in to take training and then a spin doctor emerges to explain why the Chairman played for 10 minutes. Then the captain is suspended. Credit to Stevie Frail. When Hearts implode financially it will be because referees repeatedly booked their players for diving and this drove the bankers out of town. The administrator in charge of Gretna is the only logical new manager.

McGhee knows he'll get a good offer down south at some stage to join his family.

He was eeking assurances that there wouldn't be any team interference.

Guess the answer! :finger01:

McGhee has a track record of abandoning clubs for a bigger job and more money. Looks like he might just have learned his lesson.

McGhee says that walking out on Leicester city to manage Wolves after less than 12 months was the biggest in this football careers so maybe he has learned his lesson?  Maybe he just knows Hearts is a poisoned chalice?  Either way I doubt he'll still be at Hearts by the end of next season.
