Some very interesting discussion on the radio just now about the ICT pitch.

Dundee Utd and Jim Spence creating a hullabaloo because ICT never made an earlier decision that the games was on??? :rotflmao:

We told them the pitch was fine, they then insisted on a pitch inspection, and are now complaining that we left the inspection late....when their was no need for the inspection.

And it has been on the offical website since 7am this morning saying the game was on and the pitch is fine

Man alive....you get the feeling you can say no bad against ICT by the way Robbo leaps to our defence all the time.

ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH - we're lining up 4-5-1

Was it ever in doubt ? http://www.highland-news.co.uk/news/fullst...T_fan_plea.html

The Caley Thistle boss hopes that the supporters can understand why he may choose to play just one up front, a ploy that has worked well on the road this season, bringing four SPL wins with it.

Brewster told the HN: "When you go away from home, we are disciplined by playing one up front. However, at home, the crowd are not happy when you go with one up front. Sometimes, people need to take a reality check. If we don't throw players forward for corners, they ask why have you got everyone back. The key thing is that when we play one up at home, you really have to score first. If you play with two up front, you are more open to attacks against us. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter what formation we play. If the players are up for it, then they are up for it and you can tell they are going to do well."

Don't necessarily agree with Brew, but can at least give him credit for trying to explain why he made it .... at 4:45 he will either be hero or villain.

4-5-1 at home And the single player up front is a guy who is not a grafter and likes his chaces on a plate. When will the feckin idiot running the team learn? :rotflmao: I am really p1ssed off!

We are at a disatvantage straight away

I'd say we were at a disadvantage as soon as Brewster let it be known in the press that we'd be going with 1 up front.

If played properly I think a 4-5-1 CAN work at home, but we don't play it with an attacking duo coming from the midfield to support at the front to make it function. It's therefore the boring old "counter attack" football which is nothing but frustrating IMO....especially when it's what your subjected to all the time.

I'm not saying we'll get beat because of it, I just don't think it gives us our best chances or makes for anything that comes close to entertaining.

God SMEE have a bit of confidence!

Give me some evidence of sucsess from our previous outings at home with 4-5-1 to instill some confidence then? Think you will struggle!

Fair play to Robbo ..... we have moaned over the years about central belt bias, especially in the media, so its nice to have someone like him in the camp who will stick his neb in and say "whoa, hold on a minute, thats a load of *****" when faced wit generalities or stereotypical attitudes with no basis in fact.

I think its Brewster whose in need of reality check, in the league at home we've won once in eight feckin attempts. :rotflmao:

If we are going to play 1 up front I would prefer to see Rooney up there, hopefully I will be proved wrong and Barrowman will bang in a couple, I have a good feeling about today think we might just get a result

FFS Brew short it out, get Rooney on and turn this pish around

We are murder :rotflmao: In fact we are not that good.....disgraceful tactics again! Doesn't have a clue................

If he had any scruples he'd walk now, no chance of that though. Brewster GTF.

ROOOOOOOOOOONEY!

signing out! Absolute disgrace! Don't care what anyone says...we are not good enough! Brewster hasn't got a clue and we have not got the personnel to produce the goods........ finished listening to this crap every week! Consolation from Rooney, who cares! :thumb04: :rotflmao:

What a statement to make before getting pumped 3-0 at home because we started with 1 up front :rotflmao:

"Sometimes, people need to take a reality check" ... INDEED !!!!! However, I would suggest that the person actually needing the reality check is the manager !
