  1. quote of the day "assist came from ryan esson" thank you bbc
  2. A couple of months ago we would have been really disappointed not to win against St Mirren but given the injury situation and suspensions to Tokely and Munro, this is really a pretty good result. Having said that, this is the type of game we really have to win if we are to hold on for a top six finish. It is a tough run in to the split with the last 6 games against sides likely to finish in the top 6. There are promising signs that we could get back to winning ways but it won't be then end of the world if we don't. We need to be realistic and accept that a top 6 finish, whilst still very possible , is probably unlikely. If we end in the top 6 it would be an absolutely brilliant acheivement given the injuries we have had all season. At the start of the season I would have been happy for us to finish 11th and to be honest, even given our high placing at the moment, anything better than 10th at the end of the season will still represent a good performance overall.
  3. No Munro, no Tokely, Jonny limped of after just a few minutes, no left back fit too play and only 5 subs. I'd say we did fairly well.
  4. Remember to watch the game at 5.30 toningt on bbc alba!

Couldn't decide which forum to post this in (ICT, general nonsense, Olde Inverness) so just thought I would bung it in here. I was delighted to read this week that John Beaton was given the Merit Award at the Scottish FA's Grassroots Awards. Having played under John as a youngster for Inverness United and known the efforts and time that he dedicates to football I really feel that this kind of recognition is not only well deserved but potentially overdue. He is certainly one of the good guys around and there can't be many people involved in Inverness football who haven't had some kind of dealings with him. An absolute gentleman and I can't think of anyone who would have a bad word to say. Cheers to John
  6. Will always be remembered as the man who put the final nail in Dunfermline's relegation coffin. 'Unstoppable' shot

So players who haven't really featured this season or have just arrived at the club are given the nod above the two players who between them have garnered more accolades than all the rest put together.
