  1. You still think that after what caleyrule has said? If he's got no offer and believes himself fit, why would he just hang around watching instead of trying to get a new contract. If what caleyrule has said is true (and it often is), I don't see Gilbert's done anything wrong. Wouldn't rule him out if it's just ICT wants him to stay on the sidelines, whilst Gilbert wants to play. Shows he's keen. Brings his worth higher in my book. Hope we're still looking at him after what people have said about him in his trial period.

  2. Why do people assume that just because we've heard nothing that a space is being kept open to allow him to come back? He had a deadline to sign the offer given, that has passed....Butcher now has the freedom to pursue other targets and if Duff does come back looking for a deal then that will only happen if Butcher feels we want/need him. In a market where there's hundreds...if not thousands...of players looking for deals, then the only person risking anything is Duff.

  3. Hilarious as usual. We dont sign someone for the U19's, so obviously there has to be yet another behind the scenes conspiracy. If it wasnt for these shadowy figures lurking in the backround hellbent on bringing the club down from the inside, we'd be in the champions league!!

  4. What's the big deal of whether of he's injured or not? If Butcher knows how good he is, then why didn't he just sign him while he was still injured? I highly doubt that he'd sign the contract and then suffer the consequences of his injury by dropping dead!

  5. Scottish refs are NOT the worst in the world. http://video.uk.msn.com/watch/video/bizarre-world-cup-handball/1j4ual8wi?from=video_module Incidentally I see that the Aussie women's team are referred to as "The Matildas" so it is great to see such good progress away from the chauvanistic days of "Sheilas".

  7. Leg ends should remain leg ends. Memories are like mammories - they remain forever ample and pert in the conscious mind but in relaity they droop and sag.

  8. Up until about a month ago Kevin McCann was still an ICT player according to ICTFC.co.uk so wouldnt be my first port of call to check. As previously stated on numerous occasions, the player info and stats on the official site are taken care of by a third party via the website provider. They are frequently inaccurate and almost always not up to date. This is currently being addressed and should be sorted in about 11 days and 23 hours time !

  10. Remember him? Ugandan international winger who had a trial with us 3 years ago. He played in our 5-0 win over Liverpool but is back playing in Uganda these days. Came across this interesting tale. Uganda's top 10 sporting scandals I wonder if Brewster & Bennett dropped ICT's interest because they didn't want our family club to be associated with any sort of sexual scandal?

  11. So would you be one of the individuals who has given Mahonio three red dots in total for taking the proverbial out of himself? I'm afraid it very much does look like abuse because of personality clashes to me, rather than any effort to respond appropriately to posts actually made. Personally, if I can't give a green dot, I don't give any. I have never been on a forum before which allows members the option to denigrate other members posts without having to have the courage to put their names to their opinions. Red dots are the coward's reaction. After all, why would a discussion forum allow people not to have to discuss? I can see the point of the green dots as a plethora of "I agrees" would be rather monotonous...but red dots are disagreeing with something, which would, in a real discussion forum, require a few words of explanation. (And Mahonio.....try bolding words you want to emphasise......that arouses less ire than using Capitals on a forum...and smilies like rather than exclamation marks )

  12. Whilst I really do sympathise with this young man I feel it's a bit unfair to call for the sacking of one of our youth coaches, one of the coaches who have done this club a great service in finding the likes of Nick Ross, Graham Shinnie, Shane Sutherland, Gavin Morrison, These guys and Grant Munro. No one on here saw how well Liam Molesworth played last night, or has come on stating so, no one has commented on how well or badly he trained with the squad. We do not know the circumstances behind why he was told on the bus, it may well have been that the feeling was telling him as early as possible would cause less grief to the guy, who was obviously in high emotions after scoring for the team. Sorry for saying this but we are not really in a position to call for the sacking of a coach, just because he decided someone is not good enough for us and made the choice to let him down as early as possible.

  13. 10 possibilities for you: - swap them for shares in The News of the World. - take them apart and them put them back together in a random order to make "30 or so" strange/abstract programs. - exchange each one for an item of confectionery worth no more than 74p and see what sweet treats you end up with. - place them inside the hymn books of your local church to help those who attend get through a Sunday service after an excessive Saturday night. - take them apart and wallpaper a single wall in your bathroom with the pages. - use them to give reading lessons to c*unty fans. - put them in a pile, cling film them together real tight and use the resulting firm brick type object to stand on to reach items on the top shelf. - hide them in your local neighbourhood and then create a treasure map with clues to find each one in date order. - develop altzhiemers or demenia so you forget all the details then you can give yourself a fresh football treat every time you read them. - glue several pages together, then cut them into squares to make a series of assorted ICT beer mats. The choice is yours really, do whatever your heart desires!

  14. kerrea first picked up his 'thigh strain' in the game he played. he got a scan which was grade one (out for a few days) and kerrea said he was more fine to train. the club then told him he shouldnt play for 2-3 weeks so this meant kerrea wanted to go back to england as he wouldnt stay here watching football. as he was fine he went to mk dons to play

  15. Simply because pedofilia is recognised as a mental health issue, would you rather he recieved no help and his condition continued or would you just prefer he was put to death? Why makee a problem worse when it is recognised that it can be treated? I'm certainly not saying that he should be put to death, you wrote that not me and nor am I intimating that he should not get the help you are suggesting he should, I do however think that now-a-days those in positions are all to quick to jump and say that everything is to do with mental health problems. Can it be treated, no I don't think so. Once someone has these thoughts especially in terms of peadophillia it is very difficult to change their views and thoughts. Yes the courts have dealt with it but I bet you if you took 5 judges and asked them to sit on the case they all would have gave out slightly different judgements, just because one person or a couple of so called professional say that he doesn't pose a risk doesn't mean that they are correct. Anyone can sit with psycologists and whoever else was brought in to assess him and say they are very sorry and it is not in their character or nature and they won't do it again etc etc but do they really mean it? And yes when he is in a position like he is where children can idolise him and go to watch him play football I do think it's not an environment where he should be placed. The main outcry from this whole episode has come from the way that the club have reacted to it and how they have protrayed it to the media themselves and their ridiculous way of dealing with it, they are almost just as bad as he is with some of the statements they have come away with!! You must have spent over a decade in further education to gain your expertese in law, psychology and morality. You my friend have to be respected. Maybe you could share some of your thoughts on this piece, I know it's wikipedia but you could perhaps indulge me in explaining why some of the cited parts of it are, in your opinion nonsense? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pedofilia
