  2. Our club is no different to other small clubs in Scotland, Ireland, Norway, Thailand, India or Mauritania, that is suffering at the hands of the EPL's propaganda. Theres been lots of talk over the years about Inverness based Old Firm fans but the town will be no different to everywhere else in the world, in that young people are picking a shade of Red or Blue to support from down south. The Old Firm themselves will continue to suffer a loss of new fans to these clubs as the years roll on, even in areas of Northern Ireland where wearing one strip or the other was once considered a school uniform, the kids are all decked out in Liverpool or Man United tops. You see it in Glasgow as much as anywhere, just step into a pub on a Sunday afternoon when theres a 'big' game on and you'll find dozens more people taking in the EPL than whatever Scottish game Sky is taking pity on that day, even if the Old Firm are in action. The facts is that all entertainment is global and easily accessed anywhere, at any time, for virtually free on a phone or at home in any quality of coverage you choose to pay for. You wouldn't expect somebody to only go see Scottish Films, listen to Scottish Music or watch nothing but BBC Scotland, so why should football be any different? Theres no way to compete with the investment Sky and now BT have made, sadly joe public in general has the attention span of a ADHD goldfish and like nothing more than having their entertainment spoon-fed to them. Raising or loweirng ticket prices will have no affect on crowds now or in the future regardless of who the first team coach is, in the short term there will be a section of fans that it might encourage along but over time they will be bred out of existence too. The last throw of the dice for Scottish football IMO is a summer league, where we get 3 months of EPL-less football to make a name for ourselves in. If clubs worry abotu losing the festive revenue then surely something like the League or Scottish Cup games could be re-arranged to be played over Christmas, like pre-season friendlies?

Grew up and live in Scotland, so I'll support them. Didn't they? Well, I'm Canadian-born, so come on the Maples! No? Wife's Egyptian, so Pharaos it is! Not them either? Ah well, I'll just have to go a little bit back in family history and cheer on Northern Ireland. Are there any bloody teams in this poxy tournament???
  4. I was thinking the 16-25, could maybe get away with 25 if I shave. or with a little grey dye I could get in with you old boys as a concession.
  5. Some of those players would be rather out of our budget I'm afraid and I wouldn't touch El Hadji Diouf with a ten foot pole! We should sign the other Danny Devine though, just for the giggles!
  6. Everyone else is irrelivent, you support your club and your team, your local team. No matter how big or small, its your club.
  7. I don't really understand why people want to know if Butcher did this or did that during his time here because it has gone. Terry Butcher has turned this club into a top six side atm and whatever he was up to behind the scenes he did a brilliant job. Got us back up first time of asking, got the club into the top six for the first time ever, had us looking at Europe rather than a relegation battle and almost got us to a cup final. Butcher has done this club far more good than he did harm but he wasn't perfect and had flaws which many has alluded to over his time with us. I think he did love it here but with his reputation restored he was always going to leave to bigger things at sometime and yes i didn't think it would be Hibs but they are a bigger club with more resources than us and so i don't resent him for that. What i do resent him for is his immediate lack of respect for the club that gave him his redemption and the fans that loved him for taking the club on to a new level. That will always tarnish the good work he did here but does it really matter to find out more of whether he wanted out by applying for loads of jobs. It didn't change what happened in his 4 years and its not going to change anything now as he is well gone. He ruined his own image with his disrespect and that should be that we should move on and enjoy how ironic it is that everything he did and said when he moved have seen him eating those words big time. So well done Terry you may get that success Hibs were wanting by winning promotion in 2 or 3 seasons.

I didn't get any vouchers with my season ticket but I see on the ICT site you can request them. I doubt I'd use them anyway. Anyone want to buy them? Say for £50?

I agree we are all British so Scots should support England. After all, if you look at the EPL, in Manchester, the United fans were all cheering on City as they are all from the same area. That's also why Rangers fans are delighted that Celtic are winning the SPL, so at least they can enjoy their fellow city-dwellers bringing home the trophy to Glasgow. There is really no room in football for any sort of rivalry. Let's take a lesson from the SPL/SFL playoffs where the fans of Hearts and Hibs will, as ever, sit together cheering on the Edinburgh team. Any Edinburgh team. After all, they are near each other, so why would there be any animosity?
