  1. Burnley - Man U also ended 0-0 ealier, and I liked the stat I heard. Di Maria cost £15m more than all the Burnley players put together. To clarify, all the Burnley players from their entire 132 year history!
  2. The crowd announced was 2830. Another good game and great result. The only one well below standard was the Ref who killed the game at times!
  3. ...and an ICT record since last conceding a goal. Brill, Raven, Meekings, Warren, Shinnie and Draper, take a bow!!!
  4. groin injury for Warren I've seen his wife, not surprised he has an injury
  5. 5 games in and already 13 points clear of County .... very enjoyable
  6. Hoping inverness will look like this on tonights weather report! "A massive smug cloud is expected to travel north and collide with a whirlwind of anguish and desperation, the tragedy has already cost the adams family their jobs"
  7. Well if Stevie May can't save County, no-one can!
  8. I was only stating what was announced at the stadium today, while it is disappointing the crowds are low the ones that are going are well entertained at present.
  9. The attendance figure of 3,830 actually fares favourably when compared to our most recent crowds v. Kilmarnock. Since our return to the 'SPL', we've played them 6 times here, before today: 3,735 3,348 3,060 3,012 2,529 2,948
  10. They're all better than County? Name a team that isn't Hibs
  11. First half was so-so but felt we really did have control of the game throughout. Greg Tansey's passing today was first class. Passing at the back was very assured as well and no real slip ups. Three points, clean sheet, 2 goals, top of league. Passing, movement and ball retention really was good we looked like a slick outfit.
  12. A lot of talk about getting Billy and Shinnie on new contracts and after this start you've got to include Marley, Tansey, Josh and Dave the Rave in trying to get them signed up too.
  13. I think that's the answer! But, it's not strictly true as at the time the question was posted, Brora had, in fact, conceded one! But, as it was a penalty, Alex will surely claim the answer as 'haven't yet conceded a goal from open play'!
  14. Three points, two terrific goals and sunshine...I'll take that any day. The game was hard work for long periods, but Killie were well organized and sat in a lot of the time, much like Dundee did. It was so hard to carve them open, but in the second half they ran out of legs and there was much more space to operate in. Doran's goal was beautifully worked, with a terrific assist from Williams, who I thought was outstanding today. As for that Tansey strike...RiG has a word for those. I daresay he'll be using it later. Hard to pick out a poor performance today. Aside from Williams, I was hugely impressed by the back four. Draper looked very comfortable in that role, which is reassuring. And some of Tansey's passing today was just gorgeous. The possession football can be so frustrating, but most of our opponents will be more adventurous than that. Not everyone is going to come up here and stick ten men behind the ball like Kilmarnock often did. Well, they might if we're still top of the league...:-)
  15. Beaton yer a feckin pish ref. No way there's 3830 here.
  16. Could be worse - could be living in a caravan.
  17. New club record 514 minutes and counting without conceding
  18. I think football has created a problem that it will likely never rid itself of due to segregation. In any other sport you can go along to the game, mingle with opposition fans before, during & after without any real hassle (always get the odd incident, but segregation doesn't stop that anyway). For years football fans have been told "we can't put you together because you're all animals and can't be trusted". As a result people have started to conform to that assessment and even the hint that there's an opposition fan in the "home end" (or vice versa) sends them over the edge....probably doing more to create a problem than if they just ignored it and concentrated on cheering their own team along. Wearing a football shirt and waving a scarf isn't a criminal offence and isn't something that should be deemed offensive...so what does it matter where they/we/anyone does it? If they are causing REAL aggro, then they should be treated the exact same as any home fan in the home end should be treated if they do the same. Is it not better to show a bit of the Highland Hospitality that we're famous for by taking a "live and let live" approach? Demonstrate to the authorities who put these ridiculous rules in place that football fans are perfectly capable of getting along....just like the fans of every other sport? Even better still...use it as an excuse to get up and make more noise to try and drown them out. Imagine the atmosphere we could generate at games if fans did that instead of sitting there getting all offended over nothing!!!
