Hampden. End of story. We have won the right to play there. I dont care if only 3000 turn up, has to be Hampden
  2. Ownership of the various properties at the Caledonian Stadium always reminds me of Winston Churchill's view of the Soviet Union - "a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma." Nowadays I tend to take the view that in 2000 over £2 million of debt disappeared (along with ICT's title to the stadium and its site lease) and five years later two rented stands materialised which made possible the playing of SPL football in Inverness so I tend just to say "thank you very much." It effectively means that, as long as the club keeps its books reasonably well in balance on a year by year basis - albeit with some dependence on windfalls like the Mckay transfer - then things look reasonably stable. It's a scenario which should act as a good object lesson lot for the people who come on here and moan that the board aren't being adventurous enough on the transfer market!
  3. National Stadium. we've won the right.
  4. Chuffed to get through but it wasn't a great performance from us. A good number of half chances from close range and some decent long range efforts but overall we were very wasteful. Watkins somehow missed an open goal from about a yard out. Raith created very little. Their best chance came in the first half when Stewart (I think) flashed a ball in and it evaded Esson and one Raith player before going past the post. The only goal came from a Tansey corner which Devine met at the back post after he stepped off his man and simply nodded the ball in off the post. Solid effort from the Raith fans in attendance. Maybe 300 of them. Poor home crowd. Whilst it wasn't a great performance from Inverness the incredible negativity from the stands was something else. You'd think we were fighting relegation this season the way people were talking.
  5. Couldnt make it tonight but absolutely delighted! 3 semi's in 3 years, superb well done ICT. Pride of the Highlands :)
  6. Have we seen a "Devine intervention" headline yet? We have now!

I think the SPFL should offer him a one-way plane ticket back to Turkey ! what exactly does he have to do to be taken to task for numerous repeated sneaky tackles or actions. dirty dirty player (would type a different word that I seldom use but this is a family site !)

    or he done good...
  9. Yeah, they're on a tightrope! At least with the pitch being so soft they are unlikely to injure themselves if they fall off...
  10. No... but can we please treat her with a bit of respect. Howl at her by all means if she makes a howler but for goodness sake don't make an issue of her gender. This is 2015 and we are not Neanderthals.
  11. Do you need a top up in your glass DD ?
  12. A lot of people seem to struggle with Ciftci's name. Allow me to help. You won't be too far wrong with "Chief cheat".
  13. I may be in a minority of one but I actually think that Esson is the better of our two very capable 'keepers. I am not sure about better (as in genuinely not sure) but there seem to have been a reduced number of bomb-scare backpasses since Esson has been in goal.

Fully expect Mckay to pitch up at Aberdeen in the next 2 years.
