The sfa have issued Hughes with an order of complaint over comments he made about the ref Dallas. Why can refs who have a bad game not be criticised for it? So long as it's done in a measured manner. Hughes is one of the most humble managers out there and readily gives credit where it's due, including towards referees, so why can he not make honest critique when it's necessary. Maybe if refs spent more time taking constructive criticism on board and less time telling teacher they'd do a better job. Players get slaughtered for bad games. Managers slaughtered for bad selection. Why are refs immune?

If someone acted like that in the opposing side then all those defending Silva would be first on here labelling that player a cheat/diver etc. etc. Possibly the most renowned example for play-acting was this - Rivaldo The differences? Silva was punched in the face whilst Rivaldo was hit by the ball in the legs... yes... but the fundamentals are the same. Both aggressors deserved to be sent off and both recipients acted poorly. Do I care? Not a jot... we needed a win at all costs and Silva's reaction might have helped us to get the win. The ref might not have seen it and responded as he did if it wasn't for Silva falling to the ground like a bag of spuds and Hearts could have got an equaliser with 11 men on the park but it was the correct decision in the end. He should be get a good slagging by the senior players in the team for acting like that but the worse crime was the muppet in the Hearts shirt that threw the punch. There's no moral high ground in Silva's actions but I'd take a team of winners over do-gooders any day of the week.

Pretty much the same comments he made after Dallas ruined the St Johnstone game last season, but no action then. What has changed? If it wasn't for who his dad was, there is no way Dallas would be anywhere near the top flight. And why did it take the Compliance Officer more than 2 weeks to decide this needed a notice of complaint?

Wick Academy 2-1 Inverness Caley Thistle We took the lead through Jaime Wilson on 12 mins, but Wick went in 2-1 ahead at the break, with no further goals in the second half. It was very much our Development side on display, with the only players to have featured at all in the first-team being Ali Sutherland and Calum Ferguson. Wick will play Nairn or Forres in the final next month - they've never won a trophy since coming into the Highland League ranks, so good luck to them when their big game comes around. (That sounds patronising - it's not meant to be!)

Probably worth remembering that the linesman had clocked the punch even before Silva went down so the Hearts lad was always going to go. Yes his delayed reaction was a wee bit embarrassing but it mad no difference to the decision the officials eventually took.

From where I live it's easier for me to use the train ;-) Having said that, there have been occasions where I have been in Inverness for an away game and used the bus. It doesn't happen very often. If I can get to a game and back by train I will. It is cheaper for me and I find it more comfortable. If I was a regular user of the bus I would prefer to get to the game at least 90 mins prior to ko as this gives time to socialise with friends / supporters - it's all part of the day out to me. I'd have no objection to the bus stopping en route to pick up supporters but a lengthy break is unnecessary. The current price structure seems fair to me.

You put in a hell of a lot of work in to a week, in preparation for 90 minutes of football, in a business which is all about results, you feel decisions are going against you and straight after the whistle a microphone is shoved in your face. Perhaps be so complementary of the ref like he's so good Im expecting him to chuck on a pair of sandals and walk across the Firth to North Kessock.

As a regular user of supporters bus I am very happy the way things are as all fans are catered for We could look at time of leaving depending on distance being travelled .ICT have a lot of young faithful fans who turn up every week where possible most of them are under age to go into pubs this has to be taken into account when making changes .As far as I know parents have to give consent for them to travel but who is responsible for them when we arrive at stadium too early and they can't or don't want to go to pub ? Our buses have always been run exceptionally well and Im sure the majority who travel have no idea of the work involved .Please do everything possible to keep our young fans safe .

That's a hard post to follow because , yes, Vigurs is more experienced and when he sets his mind to it he is a rough ride for any opposing player to handle. Christie has youth and verve on his side but what I have seen of Vigurs suggests that he could be a stalwart for ICT if he listens to JH , works hard on the training pitch and plays up to his potential. He's a determined fella and strong physically. Let's hope his sojourn at ICT again proves to be a cracker for both himself and team. Whether he could ever be more than just a player woul depend on his mental capacity to listen, learn and apply what he learns from John the One. IMHO.

I heard last season that those running the Ross County bus want to do there's in a similar manner to ours. Seemingly theirs stops at umpteem pubs and golf clubs on the way down, as well as (allegedly) turning a blind eye to drinking on the bus. While there's is cheaper, it's subsidised by the club. I'm quite glad our bus isn't like that in all honesty. Those who use the bus do so to enjoy their football and support their team. Opening it up to those who would be more interesting in the drinking side of it and you'd start having to share the bus with people you wish weren't going IMO.

Good to see Meekings and Vincent back and new boy Storey certainly justified his starting place. Getting Draper back to his usual position gave us more bite in midfield and helped make Tansey a bit more effective again. With Tremarco back at Left back Williams was freed up to a more attacking role and with the new lads coming in there is now serious competition for places despite the on-going injuries. But for me, the most pleasing thing about tonight's performance was the way we defended the lead. After a spell of Hearts pressure we made a couple of attack minded substitutions and a proper game of football broke out. Rather than just sit deep and absorb the pressure (or, far too often, fail to absorb the pressure) we went looking for a 2nd goal and were rewarded with an excellent finish by Storey. After a dismal first half we got some fan friendly footy and the crowd responded accordingly. Let's have more of the same, please!

I really enjoyed going to the game tonight. The atmosphere at the stadium was great, partly due to the number of supporters Hearts brought with them, but mostly because our own support were really getting behind the team. The team seemed fresh and revived and it's good to read all the debate on this thread about who the main players were - plenty to choose from. I'm especially pleased for all the new season ticket holders who must have been wondering about their investment till now. It also made a pleasant change to have a ref. who didn't hate us!

I can't believe some of the disrespect being shown to the lad by so called supporters of the club on this forum . I wish the lad all the best in what is hopefully a long and successful career .
