  1. He brings balance to the force Don Vader, balance to the force.
  2. Surely, in the current climate, a little bit of additional security and the minor inconvenience of retrieving a bag is a price worth paying to keep people safe.
  3. Go to any railway station in Britain, no-matter how small and you'll hear announcements about unattended bags. This is no different. Irresponsible behaviour IMO and no sympathy from me and certainly none had they taken it out for a controlled explosion.
  4. Unattended bags have been a big no no for as long as I can remember and not just a result of recent events in Paris. Whether you agree with the reaction or not, it's incredibly naive to think you can just leave a bag laying there and wander off....regardless of where you are in public.
  5. Popped 'Overthebridge' for a brief lurk ahead of the derby. I note that the same individual has an identical thread promoting his new County site.
  6. Seems the most logical place for this post rather than creating a new thread: http://spfl.co.uk/news/article/latest-live-tv-games-announced-3/ Our game v Hearts on 30th January (brought forward to replace the Saint Johnstone fixture which was postponed due to their League Cup S/F appearance) has been changed to a 12:30 kick off. Additionally, our game v Aberdeen on 13th February has now been shifted to 15th February for a 19:45 kick off.
  7. Are all 3 clubs getting the same money for sponsorship?
  8. Thats why I dont like the idea, while ICT may benefit from being favourites in a group, its just yet again a monopolisation for the biggest teams - kind of like the structure of the Champions League or Euro/WC qualifiers. If its regionalised and each group has 5 teams with one being a 'big' club it wont be long til the same matches are repeated regullarly due to the limited numbers of clubs to start with. If anything I would like to see an open draw for the groups regardless if we had to travel to Stranraer or Berwick or even got 4 SPFL clubs, then it has the potential to throw up a surprise and increase media and fan interest.
  9. About a year ago my mate got us a pair of tickets to see the Manic Street Preachers - as it turned out, it was on Cup final day and the celebrations meant I never actually made it to the gig. 12 months later, they've just announced another gig in Scotland, and would you believe it, it's on Cup final day again. So I'm getting another ticket and very much hoping not to be there!
  10. 1 point
Just watched the final again on my 'early' Xmas present. Amazing. I was surprised by what I'd forgotten in just a few months - The sheer quality of our 1st goal, especially the delightful little through ball from Doran to Watkins - How well Tremarco had played up until his costly error - How well Williams did coming on for the final few minutes - Just how far both Watkins and Vincent ran for our winner Great stuff. I reckon I'll watch that many more times, any time in fact I feel my spirits need a little boost.
  11. Just to let everyone know - there was increased security at Caley Stadium last week at the Celtic game. we did our usual routine - dumped the backpack at our seat before heading for a pie, same as we do every home game. However when we came back the bag was gone. Security had lifted it as a security risk following Paris attacks. I had to go to main reception to pick it up - but not until I had a lecture from head of security, telling me that the chief constable nearly called off the game! The fact that they lifted the bag and put it behind reception tells me they weren't too worried about it mind. They were all very nice about it, but I missed first 10 minutes of the game! Bl""dy ISIS! just a heads up in case anyone else normally does this with their bag too.
  12. Good idea....ICTFC away to Stranraer, the perfect way to increase crowds and fan interest..!!
  13. That is shocking aren't stewards at the gate checking the bags before people head through the gate. Why not just get them to double check their is nothing in it. I know it was terrible what happened in Paris but come people in Inverness are not that clever no offence anyone. Disgraceful surely the stewards at the gate know the regulars that take in a bag for kids sweets and juice because people are not willing to pay for a terrible pie or very expensive amounts of money for a juice and sweets they have at ICTFC are not the best selection. sorry to hear your bag was taken away without you knowing they could of a least waited until you got back to your seat and asked you nicely rather than taking it away without you knowing!! . But im glad you got it back
