  1. I'm getting worried, I'm reading the words but my head can't make a sentence out of them. Never mind I'm hoping to go into the Elgin transport museum tomorrow, I'm looking forward to seeing the early modes of transport in Elgin, "sandals" and the more modern mode of transport "flip-flops"

  5. Refreshing to see that Elgin are a bit more open about ticket sales than we are. I have never understood our tendency to secrecy especially when it comes to season ticket numbers. Nudging over 3,000 is a decent crowd for this match.

  11. Eh. Have you read a review on your famous St Giles shopping centre by a local. "It needs a good lick oh paint and some new technology." St Giles named after a Greek hermit. definition. Hermits like living solo, alone in the woods, up in a mountain, or sometimes they live in a city without hardly ever leaving their apartment. The root of the word is the Greek erēmos, meaning “solitary.” A life of solitude isn't for everyone, but a hermit chooses it for any number of reasons. Elgin city?

  16. The banter in the build up is great, hope the game gives us the encouragement for the rest of the season. I can't be there due to a family birthday, but will be watching the BBC text service discretely. Having seen the comments about Anier, I am hopeful he will be a good acquisition. Doubt he will start on Saturday, and I still think we need a defender. With wing backs, three at the back may be what we need. My team: Fon Williams Mckay, Warren, Meekings, Tremarco Draper, Tansey Doran, Polworth, Cole Fisher but we will see!

  17. Anier's last game was in November, so I doubt he'll start. Although Richie might want him closer to match sharpness ahead of some must win league games? Cole is re-signed on loan and will be a likely starter, as he was a mainstay prior to the winter break. Ebbe won't start or be near the bench I would assume. I really hope Richie used the winter break to try new formations and we don't go into Saturday with the same plans as last year. Drop Vigurs, move Polworth into the middle, start Fisher instead of Doumbouya... just those simple changes would make a huge difference I feel.

  23. I'm just not getting this one at all. Where the woman is walking I think I'm seeing "Mitchells" (ironmonger's) or Mitchell and Craig which I think were indeed in Hamilton St. However it seems very wide for Hamilton St and I'm not sure how you could see a car park (Eastgate?) from Hamilton St. Are these buildings mid-right the beginnings of Millburn Rd? I'm just not getting a perspective here and can't see it as Hamilton St looking back towards Academy St either.

  24. Thank you gents! I've got you now. What threw me was Eastgate and the Crown in the background. I thought that part of the photo was of further out Millburn Rd which messed up my angles and projected me to nearer Falcon Square. The photo seems to have been taken with the corner of the former Pet Shop at the photographer's left elbow, with the by then burned down Playhouse just behind him.

Administration pending, unless... How can we go from SupercaleygoballisticCelticareatrocious in the year 2000, to Scottish Cup Winners in 2015, playing in Europe and just 9 years after lifting the Cup; Administration. Mismanagement and our demise was hastened by the appointment of Scot Gardiner. Ever since then, ludicrous decision making has seen our stock plummet whilst 'shady' dealings were investigated. The failed Concert Company, the Battery Storage, the Statkraft contract have all ended badly leaving the club facing insolvency.

That's another fine mess you've got us into.

      Chairman Ross Morrison resigns

Nothing official from the club as we speak, but the Inverness Courier are running with a story that Ross Morrison has resigned at 18:00 tonight 3rd June.  More to come as this story develops, but most fans are looking for more heads to roll.

Speaking exclusively to The Inverness Courier, Mr Morrison said he is leaving now because of the aftermath of the Fife move. “I believe it [the move to Fife] is the best way forward and I have to stick with my beliefs,” Mr Morrison said. “This is the reason I'm stepping down now.”

Reflecting on his time with the Caley Thistle, Mr Morrison said: “My six-year tenure with the club has had some great and some not so great times but through everything I was immensely proud to be the chairman of the club and clubs I’ve supported for 50 years - I was a Jaggie by the way.

“I would ask the fans to rally round the club at this time and show their support by not only purchasing their season tickets but also getting involved directly with the club to see how they can help.

“Hearing fans saying they would prefer administration to training the first team in Kelty sent a shiver down my spine. Administration is a desperate thing to happen to a club and must, at all cost, not happen to ICTFC.”
