  1. Well I am being serious - I can evidently see that communications between the fans and the Board are sadly lacking. I am baffled and fed up of some repetitive (and often derogatory) posts that pop up on most threads these days. I do however also understand and agree with some. SO I will give it a go. IF you have a personal beef, an example or observation to support it - or a question - or a suggestion - then bang it down. In about a week I will put them all together and make a presentation to the Board.
  2. The Scottish Football Fans Association are running a "Female Fans Survey" and the ICT Supporters Trust are encouraging as many females as possible to have their say. For further information, and the survey itself, check out the following link... https://scottishfsa.org/female-fans/ Survey closes on 16th September.
  3. Delighted to see that we are canvassing the views of half our potential fan base. A group that have been neglected by too many clubs for far too long.
  4. Jeez...I shudder to think what Hissy thought of my username then...
  5. I think I see both sides here CMIB ... I am a bit like you too albeit even further away. The day to day stuff and the engagement have less effect on either of us given the distance involved. I am not sure if the supporter survey talked about in another thread covers this eventuality but I am guessing the relevance of engagement as a factor in your decision to attend games drops off exponentially in relation to distance away from the club. We will still turn up to watch a game as and when we can because we have to make all sorts of arrangements to get there in the first place. In my case I obviously have to have flights, car hire, accommodation and nowadays I also have to keep an eye on school holidays for my little guy which is going to make things more difficult after this year. Although our trips are ostensibly to visit family, I would be lying if I did not confess to checking the fixture list out of the corner of my eye when my wife is talking about possible dates and maybe moving things a few days here and there to see if I can fit more games in !!! I also seldom visit between June and August when there is no footie !! However, I know engagement, presence and interaction can and do matter to those in and around Inverness (like OCG) . When that engagement and fan interaction is non-existent, as it currently is (and has been at points in the past also) then that absolutely has a detrimental effect on the perception and affinity most normal people have for their club. You still support it, but in many cases you feel they only speak to you when they want something (usually from your pocket). It wont stop you attending games or buying merchandise or anything else but you don't get that same warm and fuzzy feeling you normally do when it feels like we are all in it together (as it did after our first relegation). I do hope they sort themselves out communication wise. They are currently going backwards and it is painful to watch !
