  1. Tonights game. Not the best, but decent none the less. But the real question is, where were the substitutions? It was clear as glass that the team were tired and substitutions were desperately needed. Hell, we barely clung on to get a draw. A single substitute coming on won't cut it, not saying Daniel MacKay is a bad player, he's just not the best player that could've been brought on. If he had come on as a Double with Ricky, then we definitely could've scored. It was quite obvious that the atmosphere was relatively tense when they were pushing up and got several shots on target (all of which saved by the best keeper in the league, Mark Ridgers), and that we were slowing down. The wingers managed to keep pace, but their crosses were for nothing, as most of the time, there were no Strikers or Midfielders in the box to get a head to it. We definitely should've used all 3 subs if we wanted the win, and I know full well that 90% of the fanbase would put all the blame on Robbo if we had conceded a goal and failing to reply. Either way, we're still 2nd, and County are 4th, so onwards and upwards!
  2. As long as its not like the Judean People's Front we should be OK.
  3. It is as dougal says. The role of SLO must be filled by a who, it is not for the supporters trust to decide the who. "The job specification will be tailored to the requirements of the club and it is therefore senior management who will make the appointment. The newly appointed SLO, while meeting the requirements of the club management, must be widely accepted by the fans, as it is they who the SLO will mainly represent" (Supporters Direct Scotland).
  4. So, the ICT ST had a meeting with the club. The club said they intended appointing a SLO in the future. The club asked for your help but you said you were not in a position to help. The club dropped the idea for now. You got your feelings hurt. Does that about cover it?
  5. Just as they did with the CEO position ?
  6. If we win the league I couldn't care less if we appoint Josef Fritzl as our Supporters Liaison officer.
  7. Keep working on it, you'll get there ? ?
  8. Assuming that County, have at last, learned to count.
  9. Wynthank conflates greatest ever manager with most successful having been fortunate enough to inherit, by far, our greatest ever squad which, after our cup winning year, he did a great deal to undermine. If John Hughes was a great manager he would have gone on to do great things instead of leading Raith Rovers to relegation among huge dressing room unrest and resentment. Looks like no club chairman in the land currently recognises his greatness. It was once said of JH that he is not as stupid as many believe but equally not nearly as smart as he himself believes. Personally, I think that is spot on. Having said that, I fully accept that I too find it very difficult to be objective about the man believing him to be very largely, although far from soley, responsible for where we find ourselves today.
  10. Fair play to the club they should decide who fills this role it’s not for the likes of a caleyjagsforever to decide they only speak for their members not the entire ICT support The club will no doubt offer candidates to apply that way they will get to approach a broader and wider fan base Dougal
  11. Not privy to what went on but very clearly that does not cover it. It strikes me as another example of those representing the club being high handed, arrogant and not fulfilling promises and undertakings made. It's not too late for matters to be resolved but it does need the club to start acting in a reasonable and constructive ways. A club is nothing without it's fans and, right now, the present regime seems to be going a long way towards alienating many of them.
