  1. For me the best moment has to be Graeme Shinnie lifting the Scottish Cup. It is one of the big 2 competitions in Scottish football and to win that and have our name in the list of champions is a wonderful achievement and something that can never be taken away. Lift the cup might have been my most memorable moment, but the final certainly wasn't the most enjoyable game! For a club the size of ours it seemed almost surreal to be going into a Scottish cup final as the clear favourites. Having done the business against Celtic in that wonderful semi-final, it was a nervy day. I remember just imagining how gutted I would feel if we lost the final to a team in the league below. I remember that as the game wore on, Falkirk looked increasingly the more likely team to win the cup, but then up popped James Vincent with that lung busting run to score the most important goal in the Club's history! Any lingering nerves were banished with the final whistle and then we could celebrate the victory as champions. An absolutely magic moment. Looking back though, it is truly remarkable that there actually are so many very special moments to look back on. We can be very proud of what this Club has achieved.
  2. I mind after that game you wanted him banned from ever playing for ICT again.
  3. Garry Warren would be my choice. He was with us for 6 seasons during this last decade with over 200 appearances. He led our team by example through our most successful period and was a great ambassador both on and off the field. It is so disappointing that his time at the club ended end in the way it did. A shout also for Ross Draper. He had just under 200 appearances for us this decade. He played in that role in front of the back four where good work so often goes unnoticed. He and Garry Warren were the 2 rocks our most successful period was built around. And, yes, I know he went OTB, but we did get £100,000 for him by which time his best days were some way behind him!
  4. This is a tough one as we have been blessed with some quality players this decade. I don’t disagree with any of the above being shortlisted, particularly Warren, whilst Raven will always have a place in our hearts. How cruel their departures were. Two I think are also worthy of mention are Graeme Shinnie and Greg Tansey. Both had great games for us, and played a part in our successful years. In terms of who the best player in the decade who played for us for part of it, a slightly different question, surely Ryan Christie would take some beating.
  5. The 3-0 win over Rangers at Ibrox was sweet. Terry Butcher coming over to the fans at full time was a brilliant moment.
  6. Watching that photo of Scotty Junior walking out onto the pitch hand in hand with D Raven struck a chord with me. I am sure his little heart was beating fast. And...he will probably never forget it.
  7. Pretty hard to see past the 7-0 day out at Somerset Park. The whole day was fantastic, pre-match, match, sermon on the mount, Butcher controlling the fans with his arms like a puppeteer, the puppets waiting on his every command, like a sketch from Monty Python, post match, just everything about it.....apart from leaving my jacket in the away end. If Carlesberg did away days with added panache; that's how they would do it!
  8. David Raven - if only for that goal against Celtic in the Scottish Cup Semi Final. Never forgotten and it’s a disgrace that he didn’t get a medal after the Final when subs who didn’t even play received a gong. They should have handed one over to him, if they had any decency or conscience.
  9. Valid point but the fact remains we are in the championshiph with a different budget White has been our top scorer in 2 seasons since he was here. He was Livingstons top scorer in his 2 seasons there. He was Stirling Albions top scorer in the 2 seasons he was there. Bit of a pattern there dont you think, I certainly do. Not too bad for a donkey as some posters on here like to call him. Think it would be good if the lad and all the players got some more support vocally at the games and on social media. He is our striker atm and with encouragement he could play a big part in us getting back to the top flight. Social media plays a major part in the lives of many people currently. Our players are all young men who can be encouraged or discouraged by comments from fans on social media platforms. Wouldn't it be great if our fans were the most positive in 2020. Imagine if that positivity played a part in promotion. Worth a try ?
  10. Was it true he drove home in his kit?
  11. And brown leather jackets!
