I realise we should maybe let this topic go now,but it is telling that we,the fans and supporters of the club, are being treated as non entities, that is until the end of the season and then the begging letters will come out asking us to joing Caley Thistle on another wonderful adventure, buy a season ticket at the same price as last year (if you are lucky) and we promise we will do better. A club like Inverness should have a great following when you consider they could and should be drawn from far and near Inverness, the capital of the HIghlands. However, why would you come as a newby to the club, not just because they are struggling on the playing field, but why come to a club that treats their supporters with such disrespect and then rely on the morals and loyalty of these same fans to come back next season. Those running the club know about our feelings, but it is as if they don't care, which is all the harder to stomach when the 'In Box' is full of Caley Thistle Emails when the season ends and they are looking ahead to the new season. What about an Email now to all the supporters telling us what is going on behind the scenes and what plans have you in place to rectify the clear issues that are ongoing. In relation to the playing standard. It was summed up to me today by a bar Manager in Moray: All the punters in the pub last Friday were shocked by how poor Inverness were and how far they had fallen. So it is not just us the supporters and fans that think the performances are poor, neutrals do to.So how do you explain the 'excellent' performance in the second half that the manager saw?8 points

The disregard that our current board and CEO seem to have for the fans who keep the club afloat is nothing short of disgraceful and is not a topic that should be 'let go' until it's resolved. Customer relations is important to any company but especially so for one running what they wish to be regarded as a community club and at the moment is non existent. It would take very little to resolve the issue but it appears that, despite previous utterances to the contrary, nobody at the top is bothered. Poor results and performances are not the only reason why folk are drifting away from the club.4 points

Happy International Women's Day to the many women and girls associated with ICT and to women everywhere, especially those currently enduring war and persecution in Ukraine and elsewhere.4 points

When Graham Rae was Chairman he always had a brief column in the digital matchday programme which was emailed to ST holders. I rather liked that and saw it as a good medium for communication. It was not only issues around the forthcoming game, but about the club in general and various upcoming events. This stopped when Graham stepped down. It would be an easy thing to reinstate and, with a bit of imagination, widen it out to include other items of interest e.g interviews of previous players, anecdotes from fans about previous games. It could be a good way of promoting a sense of community as well as keeping the club's most loyal supporters informed.4 points

Thank you so much. I see the club have tweeted re IWD but in context of violence against women. Would have been nice to see a message similar to the one above posted by Kingsmills. Hey ho....3 points

Amazing as it is after our abysmal run since before the turn of the year, we are still in with a shout of promotion via the play offs. We will need to improve on our recent dire performances and occasional apparent lack of team spirit. Now is the final chance to revive our season which will, above all, require unity on and off the pitch. Frustrated and disappointed as we are, time to pull together and back the team. Definitely not time to spread unfounded rumours about dressing room unrest.1 point

Very well said Douglas and Scotty. Hopefully someone in the club actually reads this site and the posts on social media etc, and realises the way fans feel about the ongoing failure to communicate. If so, they need to be ensuring the Chairman, Board and CEO know the depth of feeling. Improving communication should be easy, it just needs them to focus on it, set a standard and stick to it. A monthly blog by the Chairman or CEO, augmented by helpful news in pre and post match interviews would make a major difference. If put in place quickly, it will help with season ticket sales for next season as some fans will be less cheesed off. I’m sure we’d all be (slightly) more forgiving of some of the poor performances if we were better informed about injuries, players suffering from Covid or isolating etc. It is time for the Chairman, Board and CEO to be visible and show the fans that they are leading the club. I’m sure they’ve done a lot of good in the last two years in keeping the club alive through Covid, but they need to be shouting about it. They say they want to increase our standing in the community. Without good communication, they will never achieve that.1 point

We all seem to be on a football downer just now with the way we play, which is directly attributable to our 11 games without a win. Chinese whispers are expected in the circumstances and fans will guess and second guess and add arms and legs when there is a vacumn of credible information. If I learned one thing in life, it is to be transparent, open and honest with staff, in this case fans. Tell them exactly what is going on, what the challenges are and what the proposals are for overcoming these challenges and then we are all focussed on the one thing (No side issues and dealing with rumour) - Improvement and the route ahead. Keep your staff (fans)in the dark, let them see that there is a disconnect and tell them nothing, just leads to factions, disaffection and disloyalty. I think of this scenario: We all want Caley to do well, but we are in the engine room keeping the ship running and afloat through the storm, those up on the top deck just keep asking for more power and we haven't a clue where we are going and only want to reach a safe haven. Is it not better to tell the troops in the engine room what the challenges are ahead, what we are going to do about it and then hopefully how and when we are goiung to reach safety. Just a thought for Monday morning.1 point

Let’s all put and end to these rumours about Roddy. He’s been hit by Covid pre Christmas quite badly. When he got back he tore his thigh. He should have received a scan but didn’t and ended up coming back to training too early with the result that he damaged it again. He has been at the gym every day since he’s been out. He’s absolutely gutted about what’s happened and is desperate to get back to help the team. A situation very far removed from the “refusing to train” bollocks I’ve just read!1 point

To easy and lazy to blame finances. Pure and simple the club has been on a downward spiral for years. To many around the club in safe seats under no pressure whatsoever. Have to agree about following the Highland league. The football on show at Forres puts the two Friday games I have just witnessed to shame.1 point

Four games played in February and only 2 points it's getting worse! The winner for February is Sam Pearson The Player of the Year leaders are even closer now with two not playing this month and Ridgers only playing once. Other players are picking up points now. 1st Scott Allardice, 2nd equal Mark Ridgers & Billy Mckay, 4th Roddy MacGregor.1 point

If that is in deed the thinking behind the scenes, which I would be utterly astonished if it was, then it's a very dangerous road to go down. No company or business, football related or not, should ever look to stand still and in a way that's what you are suggesting. I get the ethos of be happy with what you have got however football and football clubs should never ever fall into that way of thinking, every other club by their very nature is looking to improve so at any time if one club stands still, accepts what's happening and blindly plods on they will be left behind. It's a results business and the results aren't there, certainly not on the pitch right now and in football the only way to improve and grow is for the results on the pitch to improve. Personally I think we need wholesale changes in the backroom staff, certainly the coaching side with the exception of one or two but on the whole this has been a progressive slide and the biggest single factor is the coaching staff. We need new ideas that they cannot bring to the table but that's just my personal opinion1 point

I've not posted in quite a while but that was terrible again. A very slight improvement in the 2nd half but that was solely down to having an extra player within 20 yards of their box when we were shelling it forward. We are utterly rudderless. It's completely shambolic and summed up by Billy Dodds screaming at McAlear for having the audacity to play a 10 yard ball sideways to a teammates feet- he was bawling for him to leather it into the corner. Stoneage football from someone out of his depth.1 point
