  1. Took a week for my letter to arrive and I sent it back same day so maybe another week for it to get back to BDO. A tinge of sadness at giving up the shares but nothing compared to how I would feel if the club ceased to exist. The document asked for the share certificate and not sure if that would be a stumbling block as I am sure many may no longer have it. I have emigrated and moved house twice since that was issued so it is long gone or I put it in a place so safe that I cant recall where it is !! Yes, it is pretty blunt. I wonder if there are one or more of the larger shareholders pressing pause or taking a longer time to agree? There are close to 600 shareholders but really only a handful who matter in terms of percentage if we are brutally honest. My fear, and i mentioned it here before, if you set yourself a target of 100% then its probably not achievable. There are people on the list who are no longer with us and don't appear to have their name under "estate of ..." as well as a number of companies that are also no longer around as mentioned on the podcast. How do you get over that hurdle if your target is 100%. Is AS saying 100% but happy with 75 or 80 so he can literally make whatever changes he wants due to having the required percentage to change any and all articles of the club? Now that the shares are gone, then all I as an ICT supporter can do is watch from the sidelines and hope that AS continues to walk the walk that he has done for the last 6 months. That he does what he needs to do to get our the club back on its feet, and that when it comes time to seek investors that he does whatever due diligence is required to see if we can have more of a Wrexham situation than a Wrecks 'Em scenario with another Makwana type character. Still a few chapters left in this story methinks.

  2. I much prefer clawing back 14 (ish) points from December against Dundee to eventually win the league by 12 points.

  3. There's absolutely no chance of him getting 100% of the shares so I hope he's factored that in and will be happy enough with a reasonably close percentage.

  4. Dumbarton proved that. Still a very nervy situation for ICT depending on what BDO know behind the scenes.

  5. It depends on what kind of Great Escape you want to include - the entire Tom, Dick and Harry project or Steve MacQueen trying to get the motorbike over the barbed wire. County 3-0 down with 20 minutes to go is a desperate situation to be in, but I might actually give the crown to ICT existing at all. Interviewing Jock McDonald on the lawn at the Glenmoriston 24 hours before the first friendly v St Mirren is just one of several “we’re doomed!” moments in that saga!

  6. Would rather not find out tbh. Whether folk like it or not they need to hand over their shares. For us to have a club.

  7. I don’t have any shares, but if I did I’m sure I would hand them back as they are effectively worthless anyway. Others who may have a sentimental attachment to their shares may feel differently. I am a bit confused with the second last paragraph in the BDO statement above. It states all conditions need to be in place before the 22nd of May. Other than the shares issue, I thought they were? Has something changed? Are there still a major shareholders holding out, making it essential that AS needs the small share holders numbers to ensure he gets full control? Also the last paragraph is a bit blunt, no please or thank you for handing shares back, just an expectation to comply. It seems it’s the only way to save the Club, so I hope AS gets enough good will from small share holders. Will be interesting to see what happens if he doesn’t get 100% in!?

  8. A great day, but in terms of Great Escapes I think we need to look across the bridge to County coming back from the dead v Partick a couple of years ago.

  9. Here are some stats. With one game to go, ICT have won (as opposed to currently have) 55 points, which represent 1.57 per game and currently correspond to second place. Under Duncan Ferguson, 10 games yielded 1.20 points per game and under Scott Kellacher, 25 games have yielded 1.72. Scott’s contribution is equivalent to 62 points across the full 36 game programme. However these numbers don’t give the full picture of Scott’s achievement since from the moment he took over when administration began, he’s had to work with a squad that the Administrator was obliged to weaken considerably and which the club has had very little scope to shore up. I think that’s an important and underestimated factor when it comes to this season’s magnificent achievement.

  10. Yesterday was epic, we thoroughly deserved the win, Billy's goal was magnificent...the wait at the end for Annan's result just added to the moment Keeping Bray to see out the season one of many crucial decisions I wish him well for the future [maybe I will see him at Palace!] Well done Scott Kellacher, cometh the hour cometh the man I said elsewhere that ultimately being docked 15points was more significant than we thought, the club has rediscovered itself, team and fans as one Inverness is such a fab place, the air is so pure, you guys are lucky It's a privilege to be an ICT fan ------- Got home at 2am, and watched the Palace v Villa FA Cup game, I didn't dare even follow it on my phone so only found out the result when I got to Inverness Airport Ignoring the cash differences (!) there are similarities with the two teams that draw me. Palace fans support is epic, which I see at Caley away games, and the noise from the North stand was great yesterday, we need to build on this What a lovely weekend

  11. Yep, confirmed as preferred bidder. Now he has to get the debts written off and get control of the shares.
