  1. I'm afraid two things are being confused here. The individual is one of our more 'passionate' regulars and most people know him, though I was surprised to hear about the inappropriate comments. The other group were from the English Midlands on a day out and had taken far too much drink on the train. Not ICT fans and they left halfway through.
  2. We really carried on from last Sunday. First half we were totally dominant. Two wins in 7 days - can't remember the last time I witnessed that... no cup hangover. Queens had chances second half but I put the clean sheet down to decent defending rather than chances missed. I don't really see the difference between 3rd place and 4th, as all it means is home advantage in the second leg, and we're much better away. Ideally we would want to be second. Looks like a very stuffy County side will stretch away in first place, they're not a patch on the side which got promoted 6 years ago.
  3. This is all academic. Levein will kick his players’ erses and it’ll be a bit like our replay against Edinburgh City. That was Partick’s best shot on Friday. The Hearts support will be too big for anywhere except Hampden, given it’s the big cup and not that trinket County won. I’d rather have a day out at Hampden anyway. Even if it was Thistle, McDiarmid would be too small imo, it would have to be Easter Road.
  4. Best day out I’ve ever had in Dundee? ICT and the Scottish Cup ?❤️ ?❤️?❤️ “Dear Arabs Roond Ye Love Coll xx “
  5. I haven't had a season ticket for some years as I very seldom make it up to home matches from the wrong side of Edinburgh, and I'm retired now so can't really afford just to buy one for show. However I'd be willing to donate to the club but I doubt you'd get anything like 500 members. So following on from that, it would probably need to be some sort of prize draw as already mentioned. Which brings us back to the Centenary Club, which I don't hear much of these days, as I get 99% of my ICT news from this site alone.
  6. Draper would make a big difference to us though. When you see him playing against you, it sinks in what an important player he was. Gardyne is decent too, though it's amazing how long he lasted last night considering he's about 60.
  7. Quiet car going home that was ?
  8. You can probably squeeze the letters in next to the traffic cone.
  9. Rab, do you think they picked us just because of our lugs ?
  10. ICT and the Scottish Cup ?❤️?❤️?❤️?❤️?❤️?❤️?❤️?❤️?❤️?❤️?❤️
  11. We owe this lot. Let’s do them.
  12. County fan works with the forestry. He’s been using an axe and usually manages to fell about 10 decent sized trees a day. He goes to the agricultural show and this chainsaw salesman tells him if he buys this chainsaw he can easily do 50 a day. A month goes by and the gadgie arranges to meet the salesman, claiming the saw is faulty. It’s only been doing 40 a day. The salesman is puzzled, so he pulls the starter. The gadgie jumps 6 feet back shouting “hells bells, where the feck is that noise coming from!”
  13. There’s a GIF somewhere showing Leonardo di Caprio with his arms outstretched and everybody applauding, and the title is ‘Caley Thistle fans coming into work today’ or some-such. That was me. I was there both times but since then the occasion has been overtaken by even better ones.
  14. Any idea how many walking wounded should be back for the cup tie? A run in the cup is probably as important as making the playoffs.
  15. Disappointed that you didn't carry on to say that C(o)unty and United are fishing in the North Sea. He's a big physical player, not speedy and nimble like Walsh. Didn't seem to have the pace to take the RB on the outside and tended to cut in. Trying to think what big wingers he reminds me of. Physically he's like Gazza. We could easily use them on both wings though. Walsh was brilliant against C(o)unty when he switched to the right. McCauley might also do as a striker. In his 25 mins at Falkirk he was all over the left side and the centre and got one or two shots in.
  16. Have to thank TopSix for sticking it up on Facebook tbh.

  18. Probably the one with Heather Dewar of the BBC after the Falkirk game. Between the pair of them it was a car crash.
  19. Sets up Alan Simpson nicely for a gag about pace...
  20. Bit of payback after saturday's mugging.
