THE HIGHLANDS ARE OURS ??
County have looked pretty decent in the two derbies so far. When you're at the bottom it's easy to feel that all the other teams are better. Yet apart from the two derbies County have actually been worse than us in the league. Same goes for Hamilton - another side we've failed to beat.

Scotland Squad
Hmmm... £22 + booking fees v Canada at Easter Road. Slightly tempted as it's local. £30 upwards + fees v Slovenia at Hampden in what is effectively a friendly. Taking the piss a bit. Add in a ticket for Mrs Mantis and it's taking the piss a lot.

Ex-ICT players' news
Mentioned further up the page that I saw Cowdenbeath v Albion on Saturday. It's a mystery to me why the Albion keeper is in there as he hardly got his gloves dirty. I would imagine Scott Brown is a shoe-in though, even though I never saw him this week.

Aaron Doran Out for the Season
He's already a big miss. If he hadn't been injured we wouldn't be in this hole and Yogi/Richie wouldn't have wasted their budget gambling on so many duds.

Beware the Ides of March
He seemed to pick up a foot injury so I wondered if he would be out anyway. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing anyway. Also Osman picked up a knock in the same incident... but never underestimate our potential to play shyte at Firhill.

Ex-ICT players' news
Had a look at Cowdenbeath today where manager Liam Fox is under pressure as his side are now 7 points adrift of Edinburgh City and Clyde at the bottom of SPFL2. A playoff beckons - this will be against either the HL champions or East Kilbride, who appear to have the LL sewn up with only 2 more wins required from their final 5 games. In an uncanny resemblance to watching ICT, The Blue Brazil missed a 5th minute penalty and several more chances before going down 2-0 to Stirling Albion.

Yes McCart was on the bench but where was Doran last night?- Hamilton -V- Inverness CT
Following in the fine tradition of RiG, Mary, Chris, etc, I also will cut and paste from P&B: My first game since County at Hogmanay and even since then the drop in belief was stark. Apart from maybe big Drapes, nobody willing to fight for the jersey. Wee Billy must wonder what sort of club he's come back to. Players hiding all over the park scared to take any risk or show or make an angle for a teammate. Typical hoofball pattern from a team in desperation at the bottom. In any case Accies just hoovered up the high balls of which we didn't win one all night. Even Imrie was winning headers at one point. I've been a supporter of Richie up till now but I can't see how even starting again in the championship he can build a team with a decent system and gameplan. I wonder whether it's worth the risk or whether we would just be the next St Mirren. - Team News - Injuries and Suspensions etc
