  1. Yeah, he sets them up, you tap them in...
  2. Can't remember either. We certainly first met in the Caledonia Bar whenever that was.
  3. Yep, started after a 0-0 draw at home to Forfar in April 1998 and came to an end at Love Street on a miserable December afternoon in 2001.
  4. Well done. maybe it's just me but I find the black on blue pages horrible to read, whereas the orange is great.
  5. There was a thread over on Pie & Bovril about the longest time your club had gone since meeting another club, so I pitched in and thought it might be interesting here: " Situation for ICT is obviously different but quite interesting (to me at least ) . this is all off the top of my head though so not guaranteed. have met (and beaten) every team competitively since 1994 although Annan were a non-League side when we got our record 8-1 win in 1998. have met every club in a League match except Dumbarton, Peterhead, Elgin, Berwick, Annan and now Edinburgh City. we have never visited Dumbarton, Annan or Elgin in a competitive match. Have won everywhere else except Berwick and Stranraer. spent 3 years in div 3, 2 years in div 2, 5 years in div 1 then every other year except 2009-10 in the top league. in 98-99, Steve Paterson's side scored in all 36 league matches. our first ever opponents East Stirlingshire are now the first club to be relegated from the SPFL."
  6. that's pretty poor. And McNaughton's only claim to fame is being ex-Aberdeen?
  7. No you're confusing "Denzil's Goals" with "My Voddies"
  8. It's a school night. Most of their loyal fans are wee laddies.
  9. Sorry, I thought he was being sarky . If he hasn't got a Tom Tom he can use his phone?
  10. Could be good for a spot kick, just loft a few high balls in...
  11. Sorry, I read it on the BBC They had all the games down as Tues.
  12. Tuesday please
  13. Davie Proctor played for bookies' favourites East Kilbride as they went joint top in the opening LL fixture at Whitehill today
  14. It's a mystery to me how you ever won that Worst Poster Award
  15. You must be thinking of the slogan "Jesus Saves - with the TSB" Everybody knows Jesus saves but Dalglish nets the rebound.
  16. ...and adding Thistle to that would probably take it to an even mile
  17. Sorry to burst everyone's wee cosy bubble but down this way people say "Inverness" 99% of the time. Now if you look a few miles over the Kessock Bridge you'll find loads of people who refer to us as "Caley" or occasionally "Them"
  18. Would have been interesting to see how we coped if we had gone behind but Vigurs's free kick just on the interval knocked the stuffing out of them. Early on all our passes were short of pace till we got used to the wet pitch and we kept giving the ball away. Second half was like a training session for us whatever Alan Johnston said on the radio. Billy King had a quiet first half imo but second half he showed he could be a big player this season. Glad we never signed Higginbotham, fancy Dan but contributed little apart from the cross for the equaliser. Mulraney continues to impress with his pace and the home fans booed his every touch after he drew a foul. They booed him off not realising big Drapes was coming on to really give them something to moan about Not sure about Boden yet but he battled away off scraps all night so hard to tell. Fisher replaced him but only got a few minutes. McNaughton just seems to have so much time, never hoofs it. Tremarco used to be a liability but his defending has definitely improved massively. Vigurs, Tansey, Polworth all decent in m/f. Not sure who was marking the no 6 for the equaliser though. Still a honeymoon period for Richie but already it looks more promising than last season.
  19. You might not recognise him. He's let himself go a bit.
  20. Good luck tomorrow. A bit gutted to be missing this. I believe it's our first visit since 1997 when they ended our 22 game run. Also the scene of our great comeback in October 1996 to win 4-3. Far less memorable was the previous season when we got a scoreless draw the week before xmas. As far as I could see, more people turned out to see Santa passing along the High Street in his sleigh than attended the game.
  21. Agreed. I had a good laugh when WGS shipped 5 against Artmedia but this is no joke. They really need to hammer this team in the return. Is it a 3G surface over there? They need a well watered grass surface on the night.
  22. Fisher 8-1 FT
  23. 6-1 Vigurs free kick 7-1 Tremarco Cruyff turn edit- first goal. For Jake Mulraney read Jackie Mulranney
