Delighted to see him make a return to the team last night, he has been greatly missed. Certainly made a difference when he came on, just a shame our defenders were intent on bypassing the midfield and pumping high balls everywhere which meant chances for him were few and far between

  3. As Yngwie says, County will no doubt sign players over the next few months that our fans will feel we should have signed. If they are signing for County then in theory there is no reason why we couldnt have signed them, it boils down to whether we want to or not. I cant see County being able to offer more wages (at the moment) than us and any player who would be willing to move to Dingwall would be willing to move to Inverness. As we have frequently seen in recent times with two clubs that are close by, i.e rangers/celtic, hearts/hibs etc agents will tout their players to both clubs so i wouldnt be suprised to see some future paper headlines saying County and Caley in battle to sign player x or suchlike

He is in full training and made the bench against Killie, would certainly expect him to be on the bench again tonight, whether he features or not is an entirely different question. I would think it depends entirely on whether we are chasing the game or not. With Hayes suspended, i would imagine Billty Mckay would play up front with Tade out wide. It doesnt leave much striking options on the bench other than Shane or Sam Winnall however Butcher seems very loathe to use the later
  5. from BBC preview here: http://www.bbc.co.uk...otball/17836028 that said its very difficult nowadays to get accurate suspension info so who knows!
  6. His last season at Aberdeen wasnt a good one but from what i recall they went through quite a long spell playing with full backs or midfielders covering at centre half with him. Couldnt have been easy playing without a settled defensive partner. I suppose much the same could be said about our defence this season. IMO he wouldnt be a bad acquisition, so many times ICT have provided the catalyst in turning round players careers, no reason why we couldnt do the same here
  7. I reckon the new home shirt will either be based on this: or this: Wouldnt have minded this if our away strip was being updated:
  8. Certainly hope that there is a decent turn out for this. The longer the season has drawn on the greater feeling of apathy I have had however it has not meant I have stopped supporting my club. Will be there tomorrow with the hope we can pick up a good result and end the season well which should hopefully raise anticipation for us all for next season and a first season with proper derbies
  9. Was a real let down given all the hype. Man City deserved their win, United didnt show up and as has been shown by their CL exit, Fergies 4-5-1 doesnt work. Very suprised that he approached the game in a defensive manner and the wealth of attacking players on the bench should have started. At least then it may have been a high scoring, exciting game instead of the dull boring game it turned out to be

As most posters have said id be delighted to have him back in an ICT shirt, i fear his wages would be a massive stumbling block now and more than likely England will be his likely destination
  11. Oh to have players like Cowie and Rooney in our team now!!
  12. Hearing that an ICT fan collapsed at the game. Hope its not too serious and he /she makes a full recovery. Thoughts with those concerned
  13. Have to say that following ICT this season has been a hugely deflating experience!
  14. Ball going wide, deflection of G Shinnie into back of net Story of our season
  15. Cue us snatching defeat from the jaws of victory!!
  16. I was all set to ignore radio/tv/internet for the rest of the afternoon after we went 1-0 down. Nice comeback, good on Billy banging them in
  17. Delighted that Shinnie is back in the squad, hope he can some on and get back in amongst the goals. We have really missed his golas and creativity
  18. Agent Munro your task is to go to county, help them up to the first division then help relegate them!
  19. Libero replied to L_G's topic in Caley Thistle
Hopefully he gets a lot more first team action, good player imo and hopefully the loan can stand him in good stead for starting next season fresh
  20. Well i have just found out why Terry wasnt at the game and will take back the criticism I posted regarding his no show. It turns out he was at an SFA coaching conference. Link at the bottom http://www.scottishfa.co.uk/scottish_fa_news.cfm?page=2565&newsCategoryID=13&newsID=9727
  21. I am not in the Butcher Out Brigade but I feel that it was a poor judgement not to show face. Regardless of whether Munro and Duncan are part of Butchers legacy, in the bigger picture they are part of ICTs legacy and therefore as current manager of ICT I feel he should have been there, just personal opinion
  22. I fear you are right!
  23. I agree with the loanees part, makes sense to only play players who are fighting for a new contract. I would also like to see youngsters getting a chance, they would surely be able to show to some passion for getting first team action. Calum Dingwall and Kyle White did not look out of place at the testimonial game on Sunday against County and i see no reason why they shouldnt get a chance, add to this Liam Polworth who should get a chance in the closing games of the season
  24. Another way to look at this, if we take the example of any other business/company/firm outside of football for a moment, if a firm were to hold a function for long-standing employees then i for one would expect the boss to be there regardless if he did/did not see eye to eye with the person(s) the function was being held for. From this perspective i am dissapointed in Terry not being in attendance
