  1. I agree with the loanees part, makes sense to only play players who are fighting for a new contract. I would also like to see youngsters getting a chance, they would surely be able to show to some passion for getting first team action. Calum Dingwall and Kyle White did not look out of place at the testimonial game on Sunday against County and i see no reason why they shouldnt get a chance, add to this Liam Polworth who should get a chance in the closing games of the season

  3. Another way to look at this, if we take the example of any other business/company/firm outside of football for a moment, if a firm were to hold a function for long-standing employees then i for one would expect the boss to be there regardless if he did/did not see eye to eye with the person(s) the function was being held for. From this perspective i am dissapointed in Terry not being in attendance
  4. firefox for me, when i'm posting now i just click once on the 'post' button and then click 'back to thread' button
  5. What was happening a lot for me over the weekend was exactly what Tm4tj describes in that when you type a post and click 'post', nothing happens. It is not until the second time you click post that you get returned to the thread showing that you have made the post you wanted, but twice
  6. Had a great day out yesterday, really enjoyed the game and it was great seeing the old legends on the park again I do agree with the posters on here who are disappointed with Butchers no-show, i was personally disappointed he didnt show. A lot of the current first team squad were there, in the hospitality suites and they had no role in the proceedings of the day, quite rightly so, as it was a day for Grant and Russell. Absolutely no reason why Butcher couldnt have done the same. No reason why he couldnt have made his presence known but as a spectator and to show support for two outstanding servants to ICT. Yesterday was not a day about feuds or personality clashes or the fact that it was Butchers choice not to offer Grant and Russell new contracts it was about honouring two loyal players who have been outstanding servants and IMO vastly under-rated players for ICT. I have been a staunch supporter of Butcher for the majority of his tenure here however there have been quite a few instances this season that have left a sour taste in my mouth. While i still have some faith that he can turn our fotunes round after a dismal season my patience wont last forever

  14. or possible Arnason header, hearing mixed reports over the goal
  15. FFS Golobart OG
  16. G Shinnie, Tokely and Tansey all suspended for this saturdays game I'd go with ----Tuffey---- Meekings----Williams----Golobart----Gillet ----Tudur-Jones------Foran---- Hayes-------------------------------------Ross ----Tade----McKay----
  17. Seriously????? I did not know that!!!!! Like you said, i actually physically shudder at the thought! If he thinks he has it tough at Celtic with the referees not giving his team decisions then imagine what he would be like given our year of refereeing circus acts!
  18. Great idea, embarassing to see SFL1 clubs implementing such an innovative ticket system. I wish ICT was as pro-active in trying to entice fans to watch us
  19. Hadnt really thought about it that way but it offers a very good reason for using an U20 league over a reserve league. Having a team in a reserve league full of older fringe players (who are merely looking for game time to keep fit) is not going to give youth players any chaplaying time to improve or gain any experience at all. I think this will force clubs to basically use their youth team as their reserve team. I hadnt viewed that way until your post sorted but youve raised a very good point Interesting to see that in the last season or so that is exactly what has happened at ICT with our injury problems. Youth players like Ross, Sutherland, Shinnie and Morrison all coming in to cover injuries and even Polworth making the bench last season due the fact we have a very small playing squad.
