  1. that completely epitomises how i feel at the moment. it would be nice to know what the boards views/plans/ambitions are for the future or are they happy enough to peak at the lower end of the SPL table.
  2. link from the WBA website here
  3. not to mention the power supply, if you dont have that in place your screwed!
  4. i think thats why zadi was brought in, primarily as cover for left back but also as an emergency centre half if needed. Hastings can also play centre half if needed and i'm pretty sure he plays there for the Canadian national team.
  5. maybe we could give him a payrise but with an added role, he could be our star striker and PR Officer rolled into one :023:
  6. sounds like Marius is meeting the club today to discuss his future, heres hoping whatever the outcome that it works out well for both parties. full story here
  7. definitely left the club now, story here
  8. what league do the old firm play in? :blah01:
  9. source?
  10. Why are the club/board happy to sit back and rest on their laurels when clubs around us i.e. falkirk, St. Mirren have been making clear steps to grow the club? As an example St. Mirren who we have surpassed on the playing field recently look to have an excellent set-up coming into place, a new 8000 seater stadium coming along nicely funded by the council and tescos, trainingly facilities funded by aforementioned parties, ample funds avaliable for new transfers, 4 new signings with more to come and a new sports scientist being appointed. I really dont like St.Mirren partly due to their fans having a huge unjust superiority complex but i cannot help but cast an envious eye over the way things are heading for them. We have been in the SPL quite a few seasons now but seem to be happy to stagnate where we are. To date this season we have signed 2 players and replaced an outgoing fitness coach with a part-time one but made no other publicised improvements throughout the club, doesnt scream out ambition does it!
  11. report here
  12. looks like a new 'defender' has appeared on the first team squad page of the main site too: Name: Andy McNulty Nationality: Rep of Ireland Date of Birth: 16/01/1989 Height: 6' 0" (183cm) Weight: 12st 2lbs (77.18kg) Position: Defender :024:
  13. whats the bets that it is the guy we had on trial, zadi i think? has been playing in the german second division. Think he may have played for some local pub team nearby. . . . cant think who.... :023:
  14. would you recommend Sky Broadband then RiG? been thinking about getting a see, speak, surf package. is it reasonably easy to set up?
  15. a season long loan would benefit both parties if you ask me, Dorrans is highly unlikely to dislodge ishmael miller, roman bednar, luke moore, kevin phillips, or craig beattie for a place in the starting line up so why not get first team football with us...... hopefully we keep Marius but if not how easy is it gonna be to get a proven SPL goalscorer? not very if you ask me, after all there are 11 other teams looking for the same thing! completely agree with the point about Barrowman needing someone like Marius to play beside to leave space and feed off.
  16. i'd go with that. although if marius leaves then add another stirker to that list. hopefully dorrans is still an option though as i reckon he would do well up here
  17. glad the saga is over and glad we have someone one who looks to have the scoring touch. Hopefully he can make the step up. Glad to see that he has been signed on a 3 year contract as well :clapping03:
  18. looks like di giacomo has signed for airdrie.
  19. thats unbelievable!! :010: out of interest how much are are usual ticket prices? being a season ticket holder i tent not to look at ticket prices
  20. no-one agree that we should look to encourage more people along to TCS by lowering ticket prices then? :rolleyes02:
  21. anyone think that these talks will be to work out when a decision will me made? :tic01:
  22. Just found out Rangers are planning reducing ticket prices for SPL games apart from the old firm encounters. About time a team lowered prices. heres hoping other SPL teams including ourselves follow suit. heres an outline of what rangers are planning: SPL public sale prices for match at Ibrox Stadium during the forthcoming season are as follows: Matches against Heart of Midlothian, Hibernian and Aberdeen: Adults ?26, Concessions ?14, Juveniles ?14. Matches against Motherwell and Dundee United: Adults ?24, Concessions ?12, Juveniles ?12. Matches against all other teams apart from Celtic: Adults ?23, Concessions ?7, Juveniles ?7
  23. i was very quick to dismiss the top, have to say it is growing on me, slowly. have to say the club made a master-stroke by getting ceilidh to model it. certainly changed my opinion :023:
  24. good point action man, i sopke to a hearts fan on another forum who thinks a change of scene would do him the world of good. he suffered from poor form then the hearts bans got on his back which is not easy to come back from. very unfair to be written off without even having a chance.
  25. strip looks so much nicer in todays sun :023: very impressive :004:
