Why is everyone getting on Rory's back? :008: The boy is only 19. He's been thrown in at the deep end, due to Wyness & Dargo injuries, and misses a couple of chances and suddenly he gets pelters. We've got injury problems in the squad right now and the team needs all the backing it can get. We've witnessed in the past what Rory is capable of, all he needs is a wee bit confidence and if we back him then he'll have confidence ! With 'fans' like ours who needs an opposition?

I am the custodian of a programme from Jags next round match v celtic and it's signed by both teams !! :016: Speaking of the match v celtic.... although Jags got beat 6-zip,......after the final whistle the celtic fans in the jungle started singing "Thistle...Thistle". This was the only time I have ever witnessed anything like that ! Respect between two sets of opposing fans seems to be a thing of the past nowadays ?

As the playing fields were once the home of the Jags, I wonder if there has been any archaelogical finds unearthed durning the construction works....... Rumour has it that a great many caley teams were buried there on a Saturday afternoon !!! :003: My favourite memory of the playing fields is (after opting for extra PE when we reached 4th year) on a wednesday afternoon.....Johnstone, Patience or Baillie would ask us what we wanted to do, the answer was always "game o' football sir". The craic was always good then ! And my worst memory.......... Cricket !!!!! WTF.....why did we have to partake of that activity. It's not even a sport !!!!!!!

It's a no brainer.................. JAGS 3 - 0 KILLIE :dancing03: :dancing03: :dancing03: :dancing03: :dancing03: :dancing03: 1985 what a year ! That result far outweighs any other Scottish Cup result in history !!! :011:

Aye, which makes the kids of these fans now teenagers who have been brought up by ICT hating parents, who will likely have inflicted their views not just on their kids but on all of their family!!! Hopefully in time these teenagers will grow into ICT followers ?

I'm always right ! :004: :003:

Disregarding the up coming cup game and talking about our support in general..... In order to have a big support there needs to be a desire for folk to attend..... To create a desire means that folk want to be entertained and get value for money......Which in turn means that when folk do attend they want to be involved in a large crowd making plenty noise creating a great atmosphere and see good football on the park..... In ICT it can certainly be said that on their day there is good football a plenty to justify the admission price. However, Where a large turnout and great atmosphere is concerned it's a bit of a catch 22 situation. Without a large turnout there's not gonna be a great atmosphere and without a great atmosphere not so many folk have the desire to turnout ! A situation not helped by the fact that we only have 3 stands so most of the atmosphere that is created is lost out the open side of the ground. We can't expect the club to go to the expens of building another stand in the hope of enticing more folk to attend so therefore we are stuck with what we have. It could also be argued that some of the atmosphere that is created is a bit cringeworthy........."give me a c" anyone..... and "caley...clap...clap...clap" !!!!! :029: The merger has been mentioned previously in this thread as having no real effect on ICT's current attendances. I would argue that point. I know a great deal of ex Jags and caley fans that refuse to support ICT (personally it took me about 6 years to accept ICT after the merger as I felt, and still feel, that Jags were very hard done by). It has been said that these ex-fans are in the minority but what about their kids and families? These ex-fans feel so strongly that there's no way they'll promote ICT to their kids or friends or families! I guess what I'm trying to say is.....It will be a generation at least before ICT build a substantial local support ! :007:

I think the midfield been doing just fine with Black out the team ! I've got nothing against Black but McBain and Duncan are bang in form and deserve their starting places.

Yes the ticket prices for the cup game are extortionate. However, I think the prices for a season ticket for the family section in the North Stand is very reasonable. If the club were to make even more family section seats available, and with the tickets being payable over 3 months, then there really is no excuse why families cannot afford to watch ICT. A child season ticket pays for itself after only 6 matches ! Surely the answer is for the club to bump up the price of the OF cup games, as they have done, but discount the cup ticket price to season ticket holders. Maybe this would even provide a use for those 'vouchers' at the end of the season book, none of which I have ever used !!!. This would add incentive for folk to buy a season ticket and also ensure that when the OF come to town then the local OF fans will have to pay through their, blue or green, noses to watch the game !!!!

Should've been booked for his dive in the penalty box today. Just watched Sportscene and saw Scott Macdonald booked for a much less theatrical dive !!!

A nice gesture from Stillie, especially under the circumstances of his team just being knocked out the cup, he still took the time to speak to the ball boy and give him his gloves. :025:

Is Jim George still on the go?

How much of an effect must this be having on CC's gameplans and tactics. CC must have to allow for substituting IB in every match thereby reducing the number of options available for other substitutions during the game ! Does CC then have to alter the style of play/gameplan once IB is off? I would expect IB will be fined and dropped after this latest incident.

I think the problem may have arisen at the away end as some of the rangers fans had two heads !!! :017:

Don't you mean "Sebo" !!!! :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: :015:

Hello ! Hello !......Well Christmas is the time of year for goodwill to all men. A time to think of the starving and povery stricken people all around the world. Let us not forget of those less fortunate than ourselves.............indeed, those who play in the same team as Filipe Seebow !!!!!! The Lord took pity on Seebow and said unto him 'Fear not Seebow......for you are not nearly as pish as Le Goon!'. It may have been the language barrier that caused Seebow to reply "Who ???". Tis at this time of year that a great many prayers are offered. One of note this evening was from a young laddy Barfy Fergy..... Notable because he was praying from the back seat of a Park's bus !!.... He asked why the Lord had not answered his prayer for 3 points. The Lord replied unto him "A penalty is not enough?". Barfy thought about this for a moment.....or ten.......and replied "Naw". "Well the truth lies therein my son" the Lord replied............"you truly are A F*D !!!!!!!". Goodnight. (the names of the innocent have been changed to protect their guiltiness)

I LOVE SEBO !!!!

For me tonight's result has to be up there as one of, if not the, best ICT result EVER!!! Oh how sweet it was to silence the sectarian chanting with a swift hoof of Dods' boot.....and their chanting was not to be heard again until well after the final whistle blew and a small band of inverness based huns walking down Longman Road were heard singing "you're only sheepsh***ing ba****ds" :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: And can I just say for the record........."I love SEBO !!!!!!"
-
Absolutely brilliant !!!!!!! Doesn't get any better than this.....couldn't keep the smile off my face walking past all the rangers fans after the game !!!! :003: Nobody can argue with that result..we were by FAR the better team tonight. Fantastic performance !! SEBO !!! SEBO !!! SEBO !!!! We love him !!!!

announced attendance today as 3700 ish.....didn't look anywhere near as much as that tho!!

I thought we played some great stuff first half. Ok so we conceded two of the softest goals I have ever witnessed but it seemed that if the first half had carried on for 3 hours we'd still have won no matter how many Killie scored. But the second half we were never in it !! Didn't have the same range of passing and only two clear cut chances - Black's header then Rankin's free kick. Maybe the Hastings substitution knocked us of balance? Still felt gutted at the end to lose the game !!! :008:
-
Aye that sure is ridiculous !!! the owner can publicly support the rights of smokers but obviously cannot support the rights scottish people to have a drink in a so called scottish pub !!!! :008: :008: :008: :008: :008: :008:

Worst ground obviously Telford Street !!! :020: Best probably Celtic Park just ousted Tynecastle !!
