Ian Black
I would be quite happy to lose a player that only performs once every five games and never at home. After looking a good prospect he has disappointed this season apart from a couple of games. Not consistent enough by far (even before we went on this bad run).

Trialists (merged)
Official Site Sounds like both have signed till end of season and we are also attempting to sign Latvian defender.

Thats fine then. Brewster will play him either in goal or as a lone Striker

Motherwell -V- ICT : matchday thread
Was he marking him? I thought from the highlights that he was simply standing next to him to keep the wind off him!!

I think I am right in saying that he was injured for most, or at least a significant part, of his time there

Were we paying his wages during the long term injury or was this done under an insurance policy?

YOUTH OVERKILL
I have to say that I agree with Roby with some of our experienced players letting the side down more than the younger lads. In relation to the team selected by Brewster - After the Falkirk game it was always going to be difficult to make changes from the starting 11. For the next game I am sure that Grant will be back and perhaps Imrie/Barrowman. The critisism of Wood is uncalled for and he again showed at times that he has a lot of promise if lacking in experience of playing at the SPL level (no surprise). Tokely has to be dropped. It is becoming a common theme and whilst I do not agree with the comments that he is at best Div 2 (or whatever lower division anyone seems to pick) he is going through a real loss of form which I think is precipitated by his belief that he is far better than he actually is (when we first came up he worked harder and more importantly concentrated harder - almost nobody got the better of him whereas now everyone just about seems to). This is being commented to me by some fans of other teams in the division so it is clearly becoming noticeable and even Arbroath concentrated their attacks against him (and got a lot of success). I would be happy moving McGuire into the RB role (where he played numerous times for the Dons) if Proctor is still struggling and going for a central pair of Duff and Munro.

v Arbroath
I agree with many of the previous comments regarding last night's game. Black was generally the playmaker and Vigurs and Barry played very well. Wood did well as did Duff (who ended up looking like a young version of Terry Butcher with blooded bandaged head). I thought Tokely was again suspect (as did all the Arbroath fans I was sitting with) and Zadi is just far too inconsistent. Barrowman did everything other than ask to be sent off. What was that about?

Defensively he was far from solid!!!

ICT v Hamilton
I appreciate that views on performance are subjective but I find it hard to believe that you thought Rossco was alright. He appears to have slipped back into the complacent performances which he has given over the past two years. He really does seem to think that he is better than he actually is and is not working hard enough to get in the right positions when the opposition have the ball (and I am not referring to when he charges forward). In a game where there were probably three or four 'bad' offenders it may be a bit unfair to single Rossco out, however it is becoming increasingly obvious that he is not performing to the standards he set during the first two years in the SPL. I find it hard to be overly critical of Barrowman who was given extremely poor service for most of the game. I also thought Duff was very good and is unluckly that his error was punished (unlike the constant errors and misplaced passes from certain players which were not punished). As a final note, I take it that last weeks cross for Bannerman to score was our first and last decent cross of the season. Rossco, Hastings and Imrie in particular were guilty of poor quality time and time again. This was a feature of last season and we don't appear to be improving on it.

First game tomorrow
Never mind the football on display at Clack park. What was with the surreal half time music. I was half expecting to see a couple of whippets racing down the park next........ :010:

Caledonian or Thistle
Yeah, it was a Caley Fan who waged a year long legal battle to court to stop the transfer of Thistle's Assets :029: No Tree it was a Jaggie who took the court action to freeze the Jags assets and eventually lost! Really. Do they have sarcasm down your way :017:

Brewster
Never mind the Romanian Market. ICT have not even exploited the Inverness market. Go into the Town (sorry I mean City) Centre and you can see old firm merchandise in shops everywhere, but nothing for ICT. Even the pathetic amount of stock which Debenhams used to stock appears to have fallen by the wayside. We obviously don't need to maximise our merchanidising side of things to provide more money to allow Brewtser to sign better players!

Public Address
Do some people get up in the morning and ask what can we moan about now? :029: I suspect that Jud is only dealing with the announcements due to nobody else being willing to. He doesn't exactly have to look for work to do on a match day! The fault lays with the club for not getting a proper PA in place

George Fraser is new chairman...
Interestingly, I understand that after the deal to purchase Tulloch CEL the largest shareholder in ROK (which as earlier stated included share transfer as well as equity), albeit very much a minority holding, became...... David Sutherland Who took over who :024: Not a critisism I should add

Where would we be had things been different
CC stated in early 2007 that he was going to give Caff a chance to make the position his own. The short sightness of this cannot be blamed on the signing of Niculae.

Duncan Shearer
I heard today that he has said something along the lines of after being sacked by Aberdeen being sacked by Buckie means nothing I thought being sacked by anyone is an embarassment :024: :sillywave:

ICT reserves beat Rangers
Am I right in thinking that Red Cards in Reserve games count for SPL games? Blackie will therefore be out of the next game.

POST SPLIT FIXTURES
Depends on what the fixtures are used for. I would agree you you if the 'best' available team is played in each fixture, however perhaps there is an opportunity to give some of the young fringe players the opportunity to be tested at SPL level. If this was to be the case then the results would not be the key factor. I suspect that the ?80k on offer for each position in the league may prevent too much experimenting however.

IAN BLACK ?
CC felt that there were a number of players who were not supportive and were undermining him behind his back. I know that this was brought up at a number of team meetings. Interestingly enough some of the players thought that CC did not receive the same level of support from Parkie in these situations as Robo did. In spite of what some people would like us to believe, there has been some dressing room issues which stretch before Niculae was ever on the scene (although his presence has not improved the situation). Some of the players who have been implicated in this have been moved on (or are moving on).
