  1. I would also wish Mr Sutherland to confirm whether he was speaking on his own behalf or on behalf of the club in making an apparent undignified personal attack on the representative of the Trust for simply attempting, in conjunction with the other elected and appointed office bearers of the Trust, to seek the views of the supporters. This surely is what the Trust is there to do? If he was speaking on behalf of the club, perhaps the board would like to advise why a person appearing neither to be a Director, Empoyee or Agent of the club was speaking on their behalf? A shareholder major or other surely has no such entitlement to speak for or on behalf of the club. I would however wish these questions and many others to be held off until the summer when hopefully we may have managed to drag ourselves out of the mess that we have been forced into by the apparent lack of action by the Board.
  2. If Hearts were to enter administration, the Administrators are duty bound only to protect the rights of the Creditors (i.e. maximise the return) and they would be able to effectively tear up the PCA with limited repercussions.
  3. Whilst I have no problem with the subject, is now really the right time to be talking about this and suggesting yet more protests. Perhaps some people are more interested in fostering grievance rather than getting behind the team? The time for this conversation is in three months time irrespective of whether we stay up or not!
  4. The evidence appears to point to the fact that they do. It has been clear since late Nov/early Dec that his tenure has come as far as it can. Here we are mid January looking in an even worse position than we were then. They seem to be the only ones who do not see the writing on the wall and are happy for us to be relegated.
  5. Unfortunately in too many games he runs around with no real end product. We need to add some quality to the effort. He still has a tendancy not to track his man back as well.
  6. It was mentioned on BBC Radio Scotland on Saturday that Falkirk are believed to be in significant financial problems. No real details were given in relation to the level of debt or otherwise.
  7. We heard you were piling on the pounds but surely you don't need a table this size yet for your pies?
  8. I suppose the odd thing is that we have had more home grown players come through over the past 12 months than at any other time in the clubs history (e.g. Wood, Vigurs, Duff) coinciding with an influx of foreign players. I would suggest that this shows that it is incredibly hard to transfer in Scottish players from other clubs due to various reasons (one of which is geography). I know from personal experience that it is easier to convince people from outwith Scotland to move up here (including people from south of the border).
  9. I would be quite happy to lose a player that only performs once every five games and never at home. After looking a good prospect he has disappointed this season apart from a couple of games. Not consistent enough by far (even before we went on this bad run).
  10. Official Site Sounds like both have signed till end of season and we are also attempting to sign Latvian defender.
  11. MacDonald (Teuchy) who taught History in the 1980s also lived at the top end just past Trafford Avenue. SMEE may recall the precise house?
  12. Thats fine then. Brewster will play him either in goal or as a lone Striker
  13. Was he marking him? I thought from the highlights that he was simply standing next to him to keep the wind off him!!
  14. There are a number of pieces of legislation including the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations which provide recourse in these circumstances. Unfortunately if the deal was concluded by auction then much of the legislation does not apply. Given the value of the damage it is unlikely to be worthwhile persuing unless Ebay's own terms and conditions provide a direct means of compensation or restitution
  15. Perhaps the trial relates to him being charged with impersonating a SPL Striker

I think I am right in saying that he was injured for most, or at least a significant part, of his time there
  17. Were we paying his wages during the long term injury or was this done under an insurance policy?
  18. I would like to register my agreement on behalf of many :018: :thumb04:
  19. I have to say that I agree with Roby with some of our experienced players letting the side down more than the younger lads. In relation to the team selected by Brewster - After the Falkirk game it was always going to be difficult to make changes from the starting 11. For the next game I am sure that Grant will be back and perhaps Imrie/Barrowman. The critisism of Wood is uncalled for and he again showed at times that he has a lot of promise if lacking in experience of playing at the SPL level (no surprise). Tokely has to be dropped. It is becoming a common theme and whilst I do not agree with the comments that he is at best Div 2 (or whatever lower division anyone seems to pick) he is going through a real loss of form which I think is precipitated by his belief that he is far better than he actually is (when we first came up he worked harder and more importantly concentrated harder - almost nobody got the better of him whereas now everyone just about seems to). This is being commented to me by some fans of other teams in the division so it is clearly becoming noticeable and even Arbroath concentrated their attacks against him (and got a lot of success). I would be happy moving McGuire into the RB role (where he played numerous times for the Dons) if Proctor is still struggling and going for a central pair of Duff and Munro.
  20. I agree with many of the previous comments regarding last night's game. Black was generally the playmaker and Vigurs and Barry played very well. Wood did well as did Duff (who ended up looking like a young version of Terry Butcher with blooded bandaged head). I thought Tokely was again suspect (as did all the Arbroath fans I was sitting with) and Zadi is just far too inconsistent. Barrowman did everything other than ask to be sent off. What was that about?
  21. The net loss is ?147k. The share income does not impact on the operating profit and loss account.
  22. He wasn't good enough for St Johnstone when he signed for us the last time
  23. Defensively he was far from solid!!!
  24. I appreciate that views on performance are subjective but I find it hard to believe that you thought Rossco was alright. He appears to have slipped back into the complacent performances which he has given over the past two years. He really does seem to think that he is better than he actually is and is not working hard enough to get in the right positions when the opposition have the ball (and I am not referring to when he charges forward). In a game where there were probably three or four 'bad' offenders it may be a bit unfair to single Rossco out, however it is becoming increasingly obvious that he is not performing to the standards he set during the first two years in the SPL. I find it hard to be overly critical of Barrowman who was given extremely poor service for most of the game. I also thought Duff was very good and is unluckly that his error was punished (unlike the constant errors and misplaced passes from certain players which were not punished). As a final note, I take it that last weeks cross for Bannerman to score was our first and last decent cross of the season. Rossco, Hastings and Imrie in particular were guilty of poor quality time and time again. This was a feature of last season and we don't appear to be improving on it.
  25. Would appear not everything is as black and white as it seems :024: Clicky to BBC
