  1. Interesting you mention internet speed jagster, for, before, i was getting about 14meg on my normal broadband. I did a speed test this morn, i was getting 19.89meg...which is pretty darn pleasing :) I been using windows 10 for over a week now, and its running smoothly. i have noticed that things like Libre Office and such like, now open in a fraction of the time it did on Windows 8.1
  2. Get yourself along to Ashers prior to going down the Dump. One word...............EPIC!!!
  3. As always, i will be happy avoiding relegation. if we can achieve that, then that, in my eyes, is a decent season. I will probably take pelters for this, but i believe last season was a one off, facilitated by a much weakened "Top League" AND i dont think we will see another season like that for manys a year. With Hearts being back in the league, it makes it that bit tougher this season. So, with that all said, i think if the lads can make the top 6, that will be a big achievment. I reckon Celtic, Aberdeen, Hearts and Dundee Utd will all finish above us this season, So 5th spot would be a target.
  4. I had the yellow and blue one at the bottom there. Threw it out not so long ago, as it was a bit bobbly
  5. So, Windows 10 is out today. Free upgrade for Windows 7 and 8 users. I got it and using it as i type. Everything seems to work fine and internet definatley runs faster. Anyone got any thoughts on it?
  6. Thats me joined. I think i should get a 20 pt start, for having a FANTASTIC team name ......which is.............Icy Tea Fc lol
  7. Dont worry....yer old Pal Smee wont let you down. Im BOUND to win this season, haviing finally figured out how to play the game. Cant wait for the new season...bring it on :)
  8. Good luck to Nick. being honest, it took time for me to appreciate what a good player he was. But, i think he will go on to flourish and ICT might well regret letting him go.
  9. Oh...and to Iamcaptain....Caley and Thistle fans in the highland league days were PROPER fans, who were passionate about their club, and not a bunch of glory hunters who only started going because the local team hit the big time. Your bang out of line trying to belittle such people!
  10. I reckon if there was no "refuseniks" Inverness could have been seeing crowds of 5000-6000 instead of what ICT unfairly get
  11. Using my Facebook news feed, on Cup Final day, as a Judge, suffice to say, that most of those who attended Caley Park and kingsmills back in the highland league days, and who are on my freinds list, were pretty hostile about ICT lifting the cup. There seems to be a certain mentality among many of those football fans who i grew up with in the 70s and 80s, which seems to breed a lot of hostility and negativity. Funnily enough, a lot of these people were Old Firm Fans for the most part. The thing i find amusing is....many of those who act the most hard done by (ie, Caley Rebels), I dont recall many of them attending run of the mill Caley games during the 80s. I recall many of them attending their "big teams" games Some of the comments i read on Cup Final day, were bordering on Pathetic, as lots of posts were somehow trying to suggest that teams with reserved fans, are crap and dont deserve to win anything. this was coming from otherwise intelligent people!
  12. Good idea. Theres the matchday ticket with it too :)
  13. I have a mint condition copy of the Matchday Programme from the legendary "SuperCaleyGoBallistic" cup game. Im looking to find a good home for it....as long as its a known user of this site. Whoever gets it will need to collect from King Street tho
  14. Clachs youth set up is way better than ICT's, according to a number of folk in the know, that i have spoken to. in fact, there was a while where ICTs youth set up had a bad reputation for treating the kids like dirt. not sure if anything has changed. That was a good few yrs back
  15. well....our high positions have been facilitated by the fact that Rangers werent in the league, Hearts were in free fall and both themselves and Hibs were out of the league for a season. I think once the SPFL regains its full strength, we will be back to scrapping to get into the top 6. Just my honest/grounded/unbiased opinion
  16. That deserves a pint Yngwie
  17. I propose instead of the dot system.....if you disagree with a poster....simply arrange to meet up and have a "square go" . But if you like someones post....you can buy them a pint
  18. These clowns rely on intimidation to make people pay up. Basically, any debt in uk, under £1800 is unlikely to be persued by companies. Sure, they will threaten all sorts, even going to the bother of sending out their own official looking debt collectors letters. But just dont ever pay them
  19. Well...without wishing to gloat...i was one of the few ICT fans who was happy when he was appointed. The day he got the job, i was sitting in Weatherspoons with my mates (all ICT fans) and most of them were mumping and moaning about his appointment. I was saying all i can recall, was his teams playing nice football under his charge. So i was more than happy to welcome him. And here we are some 18 months on (or so) and under him, we have had two major finals, One Cup, third place finish and European footie next season. I really dont think it will get any better than that and i think it will be a long time before we see that again in Inverness. Hopefully im wrong tho
  20. Very sad news. He was a hugely likeable and witty man....and even rarer...a likeable MP, who had principles. UK politics is a poorer place without him. RIP Charles :(
  21. Feel for Falkirk today, as they were by far the better team. But...when all is said and done, thankfully we put the ball in the back of the net more than they managed. An absolutley fantastic season for ICT and their fans. Well done to Yogi, Russell and the lads. You have done the Highlands proud
  22. To win tomorrow would be simply amazing end to what has been a dream season. Dare i say, even IF we dont win, the club have done superb
  23. Well...i for one like talking about my beloved Caley and the old Highland League days. When the fans were consulted about the proposed Team Name...despite being Caley daft, i voted for the Caley and Thislte parts to be dropped from the team name, as i could see it would be problematic. it would have been better just calling the team Inverness. I know a lot of people who are still very bitter about things and its kind of sad. My facebook has numerous ex Caley fans being very negative towards ICT. I wonder if this reluctance to let go of the past is as prominent in old school jaggies? I few of my long time freinds were Jaggies, and while they are less vocal and negative, they still hold a grudge to ICT
