Are you seriously saying that someone that no longer can go to games...for whatever valid reasons, isnt allowed to form and hold an opinion on matters??

Out of interest.....hows the traffic volume on this site compared to the past? I check in quite a lot of times per day....as i have done since the very beginning of this site, and i sometimes think its the quietest i have ever known the site to be.
  3. I certainly can no longer afford to go, unless as a one off treat. But the weekends ICT are at home, seem to mostly coincide with the weekends i have my kids staying. If things were different....id be there every week. That sed, i havent been subjected to the dire football as much as others, so i might not be so willing to say that after a season like last.

I know i dont make many games these days....but there are all srts of reasons for that. Most cruicially, money.....i simply cant justify or afford to spend £20-30 on a game of footie. i have to say...as an observation, based on many years of studying this....i reckon ICT have among the most apathetic attendees in football. notice i didnt use the word "supporters". I have always suspected that a fair chunk of those who used to attend ICT games...werent so much fans of the club, more just looking to see a game of football. There were a lot of "floaters" between us and C*unty. At the end of the day.....i believe that ICT's core support, is probably somewhere from 1600-1800. by that, i mean, these are peeps that would turn up, whether we are in the SPL, or 3rd Div. I sed last season that C*untys promotion would damage our finances, and many ridiculed me. Well....lets wait and see at the end of the season whos right and whos wrong
  6. I was hearing there was only 4409 there today. Is it just me...or is that a significant drop on previous attendances for the same fixture?
  7. Yay.....only 3pts off second place as things stand lol
  8. I cant even get it online, it say due to contractural rights...they cant bring the program.
  9. Can you no longer get live commentary of all the SPL games online on BBC Scotland site?
  10. Levein is "slightly disappointed" and thought Macedonia were an "extremely good" team. Well.....may as well walk away now Levein
  11. AMAZING performance of endurance by both players. Went at it hammer and tong for nigh on 5 hours. Incredible win For Andy. before Lendl came along....i thought Andy was always prettty generous with his returns for his opponent. But Now, he seems to be more ruthless, and makes his opponent work harder. I always felt if he could get one Major under his belt, then the rest could soon follow. That time could be now. He could be world No 1 by end of the campaign
  12. I would play Mackie and Rhodes from the off on tuesday, and i would play Forrest from the start too. We need someone who will take the ball and run at them and cause probems. Forrest can do that.
  13. Im planning puttin money on them scraping a draw with Macedonia on tuesday.
  14. Envisage the scene....the last game of the Qualifiers....Scotland Narrowly miss qualifying......and we hear those immortal words "if only we hadnt dropped points in the opening two games" BUT...hopefully we will win
  15. I remember this...and it was partly what i was basing my post on. I dont think we are in much worse shape than anyone else. Out of interest, does anyone know countys attendance on saturday. It didnt look that many
  16. Well....im really remembering the European nights, when the place used to sell out. But even then...i reckon their average was more than just 14 000.....but hey...even then, it was a lot higher than todays attendances
  17. Are ICT really doing that bad relativley speaking? I mean the likes of the Edinburgh, Dundee teams, and the Aberdeen team, all have a hell of a lot more population than inverness has to draw on, but I would say their percentage of the population who attend their games wouldnt be any greater than ours. Do you know what i mean? For eg.....Aberdeen has 4.5 times the population of Invernesss....but i doubt they get 4.5 times the attendances that ICT do. Back when Aberdeen were sucsessful, they played to nigh on 24 000 for most home games, now....what is their average gate? Probably 1/3 of that
  18. Welcome Owl.....nice to have ya following the team :)
  19. Cant see it. He was on Goals On Sunday last week, saying he wasnt keen on even the Championship...as he thought he was still good enough for Premiership. Then again...if no one came knocking, Celtic might tide him over.
  20. Was it the county second XI last night or something. That was a bit of a pasting they took
  21. Brown is far superior goalie than Fraser is. I would make him No1
  22. How many more years are we going to have to read such stories. I have been reading such tales of over zelous stewarding for year after year on here....certainly since ICT got into the SPL. The Board really need to look into this, as crowds seem to be dwindling alarmingly so and the club can ill afford to lose any more precious punters. Its a known fact, give people a little power and they often will abuse that right.
  23. I thought things had been looking positive so far. yeah...the team had a bad day at the office, that was evident from the goal in the first few mins. You cant afford that agaisnt the likes of Celtic. But hey, as i say, lets put it into perspective, it was Celtic it was against. If your to have an off day against anyone...it may as well be them. it could have been worse, and happened against the likes off St Mirren or St Johnstone etc. That would be far harder to bare
