IF Rangers go into Liquidation, assets sold to the Newco etc, Does the Newco get to Keep the Name , the brand, the History and honours etc of Rangers FC, basically picking up where they left off, or is it a new team starting out?

You're probably too young to remember the funding issues when it was built. It was a modular design with the potential to fill those bits in later if required, so rather than shooting them, I would commend their vision You could of course just have left the ends off and reduced the main stand to 1700, but with the wings it takes 2200. Besides, I rather like it. It's unique! . i have it on good athourity, that the roof on the main stand was originally planned to extend another 30ft toward the pitch, giving better cover from weather and creating a better atmosphere, but again, cut backs had to be made

I cant help but think, with the state of the game in Scotland, that at least some teams in the SPL may have to seriously think about part time football. I think all it will take is one team to take the plunge and others will follow. What do you lot think is going to happen?

Well yeah, this is true...Scottish football is going thro a crisis, but i think the other clubs dont have the added handicap of having pretty much only a handful of players to speak of, with other players deserting left right and centre

As far as i see.....all the blame for the state that ICT currently finds itself in, seems to be levelled at TB. But i got to thinking, last i knew....we still had a Director Of Football. Doesnt players coming and goings have to go thro such people usually? Is Grassa perhaps due a little of the blame to, if indeed there is blame to be apportioned?? Just curious to know what role he has played in all this goings on, if any at all

How many players have we currently got left on our books, that are proven SPL level? I just mean players that are likely to start SPL games, and not bench warmers. Also, dont include those who have not yet (assuming they plan to) sign contracts. So, who does that leave us with ?

I think both are on a hiding to nothing. Both teams and sets of fans are stuck in the past....like aberdeen fans. They think their teams should be among the top contenders. Bottom line, at best, as things stand, Liverpool and Aston Villa should realistically be happy with 6th-10th place finishes in the league. I see that as their level now

Lets save all the talk of relegation until march-may 2013, IF it looks like that is what is on the cards for us. We have a whole season of the SPL ahead of us. Im fairly confident that there will be at least one team worse than us. ICT isnt the only team struggling financially etc....there are about another 11 teams in the same boat, admittedly, some worse than others...BUtT...in fact...its probably the most level playing field theres been in the SPL for many many years.

EXACTLY.....just had a debate about this very point with a facebook freind. He seems suprised by what he saw, and couldnt comprehend the points i was making about such hatred being prevalent in the west of scotland for example. He was aghast that Polish fans could harbour such hatred for jews.....for some reason. I was pointing out that UK went thro such mentality 20-30 yrs ago. This program tonight did not shock me in the least

To me....it was just an opportunity to spend yet more billions, upgrading infrastructure and facilities in London, under the guise of the Olympic games. Last i heard, they reckon the cost could be £30Bn. Wouldnt catch the Govt investing that amount anywhere else, other than London!
